Best meal I've had all week! No complaints from our family.
We visited Norse Horse while visiting the Windmill Museum with our 2 kids. The employee at the windmill recommended Norse Horse when we asked about lunch, when we arrived at 2pm the place was understandably slow (near empty) though a few diners were lingering watching sports on the TV. The man behind the bar was kind and patient with us, answering all our questions as we placed our order. The food was AMAZING! I drove by the day before football starts thinking hey it's a vikings bar I'm sure they will be open for Minnesota Vikings games on football sundays.... sadly that's not the case so if your planning on catching any games here forget it. Missed first part of the game searching where I can watch it. Had two drive 50 mins away.... very disappointing. I had a local amber beer & Pop had a Danish Carlsberg beer. Our server April is a local and used to work at the Danish Museum. She gave us a few places to see while we were in Elk Horn. April is so legit - she's got the Danish windmill tattooed on her arm!! The building is the oldest build in Elk Horn. Super cool!! If you're in Elk Horn, definitely stop by the Norse...
