Elkspresso B&B — Restaurant in Elk River

A new favorite spot in a small tourist town filled with so much history and is surrounded by natural nature is a must go, see and visit!

My family of 3 visited and stayed in Elk River for a few weeks this past summer. We absolutely explored our hearts out! So much beauty to witness!

We stayed at the owners B&B rental behind the coffee shop. Kimberely is the new owner that took over the shop, her pleasant company, suggestions on must see, knowledge of the area, kindness and generosity added to the experience! She opened her shop early that summer for the fire fighters who were staying and working in the surrounding areas due to the fires. On weekends at times she makes breakfast or lunch that we took full advantage of the deliciousness offered. Like her rentals, her shop was also spacious, quaint, clean, decorative, fun, convenient, accessible, inviting and dog friendly!

The shop itself is a historical building. The business is easy to find, it's on the corner of Main Street and 1st Street. Her shop is filled with a variety of coffees, teas, lotus, ice cream, history information, souvenirs, clothes, and cute things to buy. Bring your pet in for a free puppuccino, there's seating inside as well as out, there's a restroom, WiFi, air conditioning, meet the fabulous owner and must try the ice cream! We literally had the strawberry cheesecake and huckleberry ice cream daily.

This morning I tried out this corner coffee and breakfast cafe. The owner and the customers there were so friendly and even dog friendly. One of the customers who has lived in Elk River since 1969 sat down at my table to tell his story when he logged near the Yaak River in Montana. My dog Tucker got to eat Quiche today indoors because another customer couldn't resist his begging. Lol The owner even brought him a bowl of water.
