The Brim Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Elkader

Visiting family in Postville and we drove down to get some breakfast and coffee. We stopped here on our 2nd day driving through town and wish we would have gone here both days!!! The coffee was soooooooo good! My wife is a barista and we both are coffee snobs so we are very picky. This coffee was AMAZING and the staff was so friendly and they helped my parents decide what they would like and they loved their coffee. Definitely hit this place up if nearby. Tried the cider, based on reviews. It's way too sweet so i asked if it had added sugar.... "it's a concentrate and has tons of added sugar" according to the batista. It's not homemade. Made a stop in Elkader on a school field trip from Iowa State, and ate at Brim for lunch. Quick service, and very kind environment.
