I ordered the cashew chicken lunch special (includes plain fried rice), pot stickers, a spring roll, and an egg roll. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, so I wanted to try a few different things. The egg roll was ok. Nothing special. It was supposed to include shrimp (inside), but there was none. The spring roll was really good. One of the better ones I’ve had, in fact. No complaints there except that I wish I would have ordered more. The fried rice was very underwhelming, and tasted like white rice. The only distinguishable difference was that it was a very light tan. The pot stickers weren’t horrible, but certainly not great. One of the best parts about pot stickers is the one crispy side, but these were soggy on that side and completely lacked that crust. Lastly, the cashew chicken wasn’t good at all. Read moreI'm not sure what happened with this restaurant, but the flavor has gone way downhill for me! I tried to be nice about it and call to complain about their food instead of posting something publicly, but they asked for it once they very rudely hunt up on me. Months ago the food was always perfect, then it was waaaaaay too salty. I asked them to be light on my last order before today and they put absolutely ZERO salt/flavor. It was disgusting. I ordered food again today and the food has ZERO salt/flavor. It's going to be a REALLY long time before I order from Great Wall again IF I ever do again. That lady that hung up on me can be thanked for having one...
Read moreI've been going here since I was a child, back when Jack ran the restaurant and took my kids when Corey was running the day to day operations and still, now, with Tony managing. My family continues to love to share take out: chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken (or pork), cashew chicken, egg rolls, crab rangoon (get these!), and barbecue beef sticks... What's amazing is that in the 40+ years of eating here, my taste buds can count on those flavors being consistent. Now, my son- and daughter-in-law love Great Wall, too. It's not a Michelin star restaurant but it rises above buffet style restaurants for sure....
