Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Elkins

Drink ONLY orders use to be delivered as soon as order was made and that doesn't happen anymore. When you get EASY ICE and soda tastes WATERED DOWN it has sat there WAY to long. The phone does NOT get answered in any way that is close to quick and is NEVER answered by somebody that can take an order. Order is not always right. When you order a Wacky Pack and all you get is the drink and burger it IS NOT a Wacker Pack. It's bad when the customer has to push the button and tell them how to put a kids meal together. Like it still needs sides and toy and bag to put it in and I know how to do it but have never worked at any Sonic anywhere. The employees need better management and training. Car hops are always nice but ALWAYS have to say sorry your order...

We came to get the 50 cent corn dog special, and when we pulled in we didn't see a sign advertising it so we pulled up to the menu to ask if this location was doing it. Before we could even finish asking the question,Joe, the associate who answered us, replied VERY rudely and said "Yeah?". We hesitated because he was so rude, and proceeded to order 8 and before we could order our drinks he just told us our total. He didn't even ask if there was anything else he could get for us. This is absolutely ridiculous and honestly, I don't think we will be going back to this sonic. We JUST moved to Elkins, so we thought having a sonic close to us would be great. Nope, we will drive the extra miles to the Fayetteville location...

I waited at the speaker for 2 minutes just now and almost drove away. Finally got someone. When done ordering our two drinks I waited at the 'window' for 8 minutes. They skipped over our car and gave the order to the car behind us during this time. I almost drove away again except for that fact my 4 year old really wanted a slush and I promised her a treat today. She was getting upset waiting.

Finally someone got us our drinks, (1 small slush and a medium coffee) but the coffee was really gross and bitter. I paid almost $5 for this too, during happy hour. I think I got jipped but I'm dumb and didn't get the receipt. They knew they screwed up but no effort was given to remedy...
