Ordered Hunan Beef & Shrimp under the "chef's specialties" section hoping for the best. Unable to eat more than three bites of the meat having never had "beef" with such a high fat (90%?!?) content. Not one single shrimp in the dish. Called the restaurant back to advise of the oversight, and they conceded to the lack of shrimp, stating, "the printer cut out before the word, "shrimp so, they made Hunan Beef". When I requested they refund the price of the entree to my card, the person I was speaking to (owner?) tried to offer to refund me the price of just the shrimp as a negotiation technique. When I reminded him that we had already paid an obligatory tip and "convenience" fee to complete the order, he conceded, and asked me to return to the store so that he could re-swipe my card to complete the refund. When I told him we were 50 miles down the road by that point, he told me there was nothing he could do, as their system could not refund anything unless I returned for the re-swiping. This is the worst food I've eaten in decades. Avoid this restaurant...

There were good things and not so good things on our visit. I really enjoyed my shrimp in garlic sauce. The chicken lo mein was good as well, but it was one of the stranger General Tsos I have ever tasted. Not so good. The fried rice was okay, but not one of the better ones I've had. The soups were good. No hot tea after lunch time.Hot water was microwaved in a plastic cold drink cup. The seats could use some new upholstery, big chunks were worn off. This was my first time ordering here. I saw mixed reviews and was very hesitant to give them a chance but I'm glad that I did. I ordered carry out over the phone. Two egg rolls and a shrimp fried rice. The egg rolls were smaller than I am use to but they definitely make up for it in taste. They were very very good. As well I was greatly pleased with the fried rice. I will absolutely be back for carry out the next time I'm in town. It looks like they do or at least did have a buffet at one point but it was shut down when I was there. The place could use some sprucing...
