(My 2nd visit-takeout) PROS: The service was wonderful. The restaurant and bar are very clean and festive. The beef Alambre was very good. The chips are some of the best ever. Hard taco shells have a great crunch and they were fresh, as was the sour cream and veggies. The soft tortillas are fluffy and tasty. The guacamole was very, very nice. The price is spot on for the portions. The sauces are great. The beans that came as a side dish for the platter are really delicious. CONS: For people who avoid pork make sure you ask if it is an ingredient that is added to your dish. The taco chicken was bland. Be sure to scoop that side of beans into the taco to add flavor. The chicken chimichanga….I tried two bites but could not stomach the straight up melted white American cheese. Or it may have been white Velveeta. It was awful. Terrible. I tried to dress it up with sauces and beans and guacamole. It was still awful. The rice is just as boring as it was nine months ago. Be aware that the plastic utensils in your take out packet are teeny tiny too.

I'm a huge fan of taco trucks. The ones I've been to, customer service is sub par. These guys are AMAZING. Very personable and asked which car was mine so he could bring it to me when it was done. The food was great. I had a pork burrito. The pork had incredible flavor! I need to try the tacos because I hear they are amazing. Great experience.

The queso was watery pretzel cheese. Worse than velveeta. The carnitas not fried, bland, and extremely dry/fatty. I almost couldn’t get it down. The chicken was ok but bland and so was the steak which probably was the best one. La Morinita next to NY fried chicken (down the road) is soooo much better.

Highly recommend. We get tacos from the truck every week - not an exaggeration. My wife and I usually get Al Pastor with pineapple, and then we split a burrito with roasted jalapeno. My daughters get steak tacos or a burrito. We order here so much the owner recognizes our order now. The Al Pastor is the best I've had, and there sauces are great as well. The salsa verde is different because they use olive oil and whip it. This isn't Tex-Mex, but a more traditional Mexican food (less cheese and tomato more cilantro and onion, for the uninitiated); so keep that in mind if you are looking for something we'd call Mexican but is really more likely to be seen at a Chili's or Taco Bell.

They also opened up a restaurant down the road that we've been to twice with different menu options, and it's phenomenal, too. A guy and his mom own it, and they are very nice, and the recipes are excellent. I plan to review...

Food is good, but they have gotten stingy. They started charging for extra salsa and the amount they give you is a joke. The special sauce with the empanadas isn't even enough for 1 empanada, let alone all 3. They only give you one napkin per person with your order. Their hours are also very random and they aren't open at times you'd expect them to be. Stupid little things that give a bad overall experience. We used to come multiple times per week, but now only come maybe...
