Roma’s I never wanted write a review until now...which isn’t a good thing

I’ve been eating Roma’s for the past 2 years now and never had a an issue until tonight. I’ve had just about everything on there wide variety of menu items. The reason I’m writing this reviews is due the lack of service and communication I was shown tonight. It’s very unfortunate because I love Roma’s and they have never did me wrong that is of course until tonight.

Issue #1- Before hand My girlfriend and myself wanted to order food and figured calling and placing our order would be the smart decision to do....well we tried and were immediately placed on hold without even a simple hello or even a welcome...We decided to try again and ran into the same issue For a place that has a few different awards from the Cecil Whig For “Service” it baffled me on the way we were treated and brushed off to the side....unreal

Issue #2- The young man at the counter Seemed clueless and kind of out in space and didn’t really pay close attention to what I was saying or even what items I ordered.In a customers view point it showed that he didn’t really care or take his job seriously and just wanted me in and out of the door. I get it Working In the food industry at times can be stressful..but as being someone who works in customer service I would never let any of feelings show at work and I would maintain a firm positive attitude.

Issue #3- After waiting 15 minutes to walk inside and get our food(waiting wasn’t a issue) I approached the counter and asked if it was ready..which it was and I Specifically asked the gentlemen “This is the Buffalo chicken cheese steak and regular philly with cheese fries right?” He confidently looked at me and said “Yes” with that being said and as I stated earlier Roma’s never steered me wrong..well I arrived home and the food wasn’t really hot and they gave me 2 cheese steaks instead of a buffalo...after I specifically asked if it was In the bag.

Conclusion- This review itself has nothing to do with the taste of the food because it was absolutely delicious. I must say if your gonna get hoagies or hot subs or even a pizza from any where in the Cecil county area I suggest you stop by Roma’s. This review was mainly based on the lack of poor customer service and communication. I ordered two simple things completely different from each other (Meat wise) and they managed to mess it up I get it mistakes happen but they weren’t very busy at the time and it juts made me feel as if my business wasn’t appreciated nor did they care about what I wanted. Food plays a part in whether or not a customer comes back but so does customer service Not saying I won’t return because I most likely will but I do believe they need to make better choices on there employees or have chat with them based on poor decisions and Lacking at there Job. Like I said food is absolutely 5 out 5 stars but based on there customer service They only get 3☹️ Come on Roma’s Next time...

I just moved to the area and the first 2 times I ordered from this place food was excellent, how ever the last few times the customer service was terrible, I called in an order for delivery they told me that the grill was turned off at 9 pm when their hours says they are open until 10 pm. I give them another chance a week later call in place my order and the person that took my order asked how was I paying, I have gave him a card I er the phone, he assured me that everything was paid for, the transaction went through. When the delivery guy came, he asked for payment, I informed him that I paid over the phone, he calls the store to see if there is some mistake, they say it wasn't paid for, I call the store to speak with who initially took my order, some different person answer and says the guy that took my order is gone and that I need to give my card info or he's going to tell the delivery guy to take the food back. Bus attitude about this was very arrogant when I'm trying to get down to the reason why they said it was paid for if it really wasn't. No one could tell me anything other than the guy that took my order and payment at first is not available all of a sudden. So I recommend if you order anything here go in and carry out, don't rely on prepaying...

This place used to be my favorite. But he was kind of rude the manager. And he had a stack of cups that were covered in hair and dirt when I asked him to replace mine cuz the top was bent all over. I couldn't bring myself to even drink it so I paid for nothing. Just unfriendly compared to the normal cheerful register operator in there. Wouldn't let me get a lunch special cuz I was 15 minutes late and blamed it on the computer wouldn't let him. But your the manager! Way to accommodate. I've had undercooked pizza once but we were suppose hungry so we ate it,and my kids, their dad and I puked for 2 days. They do seem to keep it nice and clean in there though. I saw a roach next door which might curb my appetite for now on. But hey they got...
