Nodak Cafe — Restaurant in Ellendale

We were traveling through and looking for some good comfort food. As soon as we walked through the door we were nicely greeted. And the smell of the Cinnamon Rolls hit our noses. I ordered the French Dip with Rosemary AuJus and Tots. She ordered a BLT and Tots. The taste was so good I also ordered another Dip to Go. The Rosemary AuJus was so good I wanted to drink it like a Soup. The Tots were perfectly cooked and crispy.

Togo we grabbed 2 Cinnamon Rolls and had those the next morning. They were great with my coffee ☕.

Never get the special. It was a bunch of nasty food thrown together. It was inedible. Stunk really bad. I couldn't take one bite. They refused to fix it. Even with undercooked meat and the recent e coli cases. There's not a lot of options in this town, I get it but there's no reason not to fix something for a customer. I'm not saying everything is bad, the atmosphere inside is lacking but breakfast was good burgers are ok, very greasy but at...

About the best place to eat in town value wise. Great food (or at least patty melt anyway, french dip wasn't bad either, so I assume the rest is good). Other places aren't bad but less food for more money and also not as good. Except the rib place has good ribs. Not #%& $60 good but...
