My biggest problem with this place is the owners daughter. She is very rude and on a complete power trip. The manager and the rest of the staff are great. Whenever she is working the floor you will most likely sit on average 15 minutes at your table before being greeted as I have experienced this multiple times now. I was also never asked if I wanted a refill on my drink. Their regular server does not work on Tuesdays and that is normally when you will get stuck with the owners daughter. Yesterday I came in for the buffet and I did not realize that the buffet would be closing in 15 minutes. The restaurant stays open later than the buffet. The pizza buffet was almost completely out of pizza. After I waited 15 minutes for service I asked the owners daughter if they would put more pizza out. She told me the buffet closes in 15 minutes but they will have one more pizza out soon. At this point I was trying to decide if I should wait for the pizza or just eat what they had on the buffet so I asked her what kind of pizza they would bring out. She said she didnât know what kind. When she came back with my drink I asked her if she was able to find out what kind of pizza will be brought out. She quickly and rudely said âI didnât askâ. A little later I asked her that if in the future I get myself in this situation again if I could request a specific kind of pizza for the buffet. She again quickly and rudely said no you canât. I then told her that I know for a fact this restaurant has taken requests in the past. She snapped and said that she finds that hard to believe. I then explained a situation to where I was eating with a vegetarian family and they requested a pizza with no meat and the restaurant accommodated their request. She rudely replied âthatâs not how buffets work you eat whatever is put out on the buffetâ. I again calmly explained that she was again wrong and named another pizza buffet that takes requests. She turned her back to me (she had her back turned to me for the majority of the conversation) and muddered something but I couldnât understand what she said. At this point in time I was still wanting to know what kind of pizza was going to be put on the buffet and since the owners daughter was definitely not willing to help me out, I went to the front counter to ask. I was in the middle of talking to the manager and she shouts across the room âI have already taken care of this situationâ! I have noticed on more than one occasion that the owners daughter has her favorite customers that are obviously regulars and she will spend a lot of time talking to them and sitting at the table with them. She even called one customer by name on this visit that I am speaking of. I have been coming here for 6 months now but I guess thatâs not âregularâ enough. I also give good tips to their normal server who actually knows how to talk to people. Needless to say I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN! Since she is the owners daughter, she is not concerned about being polite to people and she knows that one day she will own this restaurant. I will most certainly not contribute too or give my business to someone who is condescending, rude, and on a complete power trip. I called in to tell them and the employee said they would put my name down so next time I ordered a sub they would make it correct and for free for the mess up. When I ordered it with the owners daughter she continued to tell me there was nothing wrote on paper and that they couldnât honor it, even though I personally knew the employee that said they would honor it, I spoke with this employee and she called the owners daughter to tell her it was correct, she continued to belittle me on the phone with an attitude and tell me I had two options, come get the food or donât. When I arrived to get my food the worker was outside on the phone to her parents(the owners) telling them I was rude to her and yelling at her, I had my window down and could hear every word she was ranting about me as the customer. Very very unprofessional and very poor customer service skills. I refuse to support businessâ that allow their employees to be on a power trip. All over a $9 sandwich that they made completely wrong the first time and had to be thrown in the trash....
   Read moreI really enjoy leaving positive reviews (donât believe meâtake a lookâmostly five stars). Our family went to Pizza Pantry. It was a disappointing experience. I donât know if itâs under new management/ownership, but itâs slipping.
Our family bought the buffet. I get times are tough, but the whole time we were there the soup tureens were completely empty (a bummer because I love their soups). There were only a few pizzas brought out the whole time we were there, never any breadsticks, and the salad bar was missing many of the normal garnishes.
One gal was sweet when told about the buffet missing soup, lettuce for the salad, pizza, and breadsticks. However, nothing was done. Went to another young lady and asked about thisâoooooh she was rude (her rudeness won this review). Iâm assuming theyâre short-staffed like so many places, so everything should be understood & forgiven except for the rudeness. It wasnât a personal attackâwe just wanted food other than chocolate pudding (although my boys did NOT complain about this turn of events).
