Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Ellport

The drivers at this dominos are usually very good at their job, they listen well to the delivery instructions and have overall seemed nice every time I’ve interacted with them. Although at times they don’t always meet uniform standards required by dominos, they generally seem well groomed and clean. What I have more of a quarrel with is their food standards. I’m uncertain what oven they have as all domino’s stores can have different brands, but they’re oven is not kept at the right temperature. The reason I know this is in the quality the food has been coming out since I’ve been ordering from them. Often times the dough is ever so slightly undercooked, and their chicken wings especially don’t come out as crispy as it should be, and almost seems soggy (yes even without sauce on it). When it comes to their hand tossed pizzas, this most recent delivery has been especially disappointing. I ordered 3 pizzas. Two hand tossed and one thin crust. The thin crust pizza was slightly undercooked— which is to be expected with low oven temperatures— but that doesn’t matter as much as the two large hand tossed pizzas which came out at two slightly separate sizes, where messy, and had a LOT of bubbles. Bubbles could have been avoided with proper “slapping” (what they call stretching the dough) technique or not over proofing the dough, which will always cause extra bubbles to appear. Finally the pizzas arrived in the wrong boxes (XL instead of L) which Isnt super bad, but it does cause pizza to move around a lot during delivery. This is my favorite, fast food location! We have been ordering for years. The staff is always very kind and they work hard. Anytime we go into the restaurant. It always looks clean and tidy. The staff are clean looking and very friendly. We find the food to be very consistent. the drivers always do a great job of handling the pizzas with care. We have only ever had one or two issues in 7 years of ordering and both times they went out of their way to make it right. We are extremely pleased and shocked to read some of the other reviews. We always use the app to order and it gives you options to pick how light or heavy you’d like your sauce or toppings. I always find when I do this. They are very accurate and follow instructions. We ordered tonight and there was some issues with the computers which caused us to get delayed in receiving our food. We called to check in and instantly greeted by Chris on the phone who was extremely apologetic. Made sure we received our order and i was highly impressed with the way they handled the issue that they had no fault in. Things happen and a lot of times it’s not within anyone’s control but the way that a business response tells me how much they care about their customers. I am very impressed with the customer service and I will be a lifetime client! Always done perfectly, fast and reliable...

The above sentence I posted a couple of months ago and decided to come back and give a more detailed review. We have been ordering from Domino’s in Ellwood city for three years since we moved here from Cranberry. Although the cranberry store was usually pretty decent at the Ellwood store is always 100% every time. We have never had not one problem with them or their pizza or their timing or their service. The pizza is always cooked perfectly wings and sides are always done well and you can’t beat the price. I remember one time and one time only I had requested certain toppings to only be on one side this was a maybe 2 years ago, (a year into our ordering from this store) However the toppings or on the entire pizza. No big deal but one person in my family won’t eat onions if they’ve touched anything. I was going to order another one without complaining only because the store had never messed up and it’s not expensive. When I called in they recognize my name and they were super apologetic and they replaced the pizza without charging me. I didn’t even ask them to do that. the drivers are always so nice !!! It’s just an all-around pleasant experience in this store should be very proud of their employees their food and the business in a hole. If I could give you 10 stars I would.
