Gambino's Pizza — Restaurant in Ellsworth

Amazed truely amazed, I have never had Gambino's pizza and have moved into an area that has one 10 min from us. So took the grandkids to try it out. It's in a small little bowling alley. Truely wonderful experience. Staff of 3 were all very friendly, we were asked if this was our first time( I think she could tell) she explained numerous pizza options, she explained specials, told us all about the wings and I am a huge bone in wing fan so I ordered a dozen and they have the best wings I have ever eaten and I have tried wings at every place I have ever visited and these are the best. Daughter who was with me has worked at Domino's and pizza hut and has had wings in her other travels and said her preference is the bone out says that these are the best bone in she has had! I have been back 4 times since and this has become the family's new favorite place to eat. And Everytime we go back they are as friendly and efficient as they were the first time. Randomly employees stop and ask if everything is okay or if you need anything. We were told about a special bread sticks when we first visited and so we tried it the next time and the special bread sticks are really tasty and well made. The pizzas we have tried so far have been good quality nice size for the price and just a great little place to get good service, good food. Took my husband recently and he was surprised he could get a burger( he's not a huge pizza fan) he says the burger was really good. And he would return to eat here. If I could give them ten stars I would they are very deserving. We have just moved into this area and feel like we've not only been fed well for an affordable price we have made...

This was our first time in Ellsworth and we were looking for something to eat. We figured with a name like Gambinos they had to have good pizza and Italian food so we ordered takeout. Our eagerness quickly vanished when we opened the boxes in the car. The pizza was terrible. My husband took a bite and immediately spit it into a napkin. He said the crust had a cardboard texture. Gambino's pizza is the most amazing pizza place I've ever been to. Their pizza sauce is extremely rich and if you go with a party, I suggest getting one Pepperoni and one Italian Cheese Stick Pizza. The Italian Cheese Stick Pizza is one of a kind with an amazing cheese sauce and Italian dressing glaze. At least thats what I can assume that's what it is.
