Bean Bags — Restaurant in Elma

My family and I enjoy walking around town and occasionally stop by Bean Bags for a drink. Once we learned they were welcoming to walk-up customers (not just drive-thru) we decided to try it out and are glad we did.

The baristas are consistently friendly, seem like they’re having fun, and don’t force painful small talk - everything feels organic and if you’re feeling quiet, they don’t make you feel bad for it.

I’m pretty picky with espresso, but they’ve nailed the espresso drinks I’ve had so far. They also offer Red Bull and Lotus drinks which they also do a great job with coming up with recipes for (not personally something I’d get for myself, but I’ve had a sip off my friend’s and it was tasty)!

They offer Apple Pay (which is awesome since I rarely keep my wallet on me unless I am running errands) and make it easy to order, pay and tip. They always offer my kid extra whip cream with his drink and a sucker, while other coffee shops have ignored that he’s with us. They make us...

The Elma location is great, before today the McCleary location was too. I ordered a orange cream cycle Red bull, iced with room for extra ice. After waiting for 10 minutes what she tried to give me was a blended, frozen drink. When I politely told her that I had requested an iced drink and that I couldn't wait for her to remake it because I had an appointment, she informed me that, that particular drink is supposed to be blended! Really?? Because I purchase several of them there and have never been told how I should drink it or even an apology for not making it correctly. I get that's she's new, it apparently so, but do you really strange there and tell your customer how to drink their red...

My boyfriend & I were on our way back to Seattle after spending the day on the peninsula. Stopped here 10 before closing. The barista was an absolute sweetheart. I wasn't going to order a blended drink 10 minutes before closing, but she was like, "no worries, feel free!" So boyfriend & I both got a 16oz big train blended with 2 add shots each. Ooooh my goodness, these were amazing. Thick, creamy & perfect. Being a barista myself, I've seen my fair share of watery blended drinks with 2 add shots, but not these.
