Hacienda Restaurant — Restaurant in Elsa

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant my entire life, and today I am hurt to say that I will not be returning ever again.

In all my years, I have never seen the most abhorrent customer service in all my travels.

These waitresses took our orders and only brought one plate. My father decided to leave when both waitresses were extremely rude to this 75 year old man. They demanded he wear his mask when he was already sitting down. Which was odd because they didn’t demand that of anyone else in the entire establishment. The final straw for my father was when they said they were charging for cheese on his omelet, he asked “how can you make an omelet with out cheese?” The waitress proceeded to yell at him, “I’m just asking you if you want it or not!” My father shook his head, returned his coffee and stood up and left.

My mother and I decided to wait for my meal which never came. I decided it was time to leave. At the register, they attempted to charge my mom for the meals that were never served. She mentions this and how the service was terrible. The cashier proceeded to say “ well we are going to be calling the judge-“ which I interrupted with my personal thoughts at how this was unraveling.

They stumbled over their words and try to play victim. They were outright lying and didn’t realize it was obvious to everyone.

It was great. I had lunch with my oldest sister and two of my older brothers and a friend of one of my older brothers. We all had something different. My sister had two tacos on tortillas de harina which she wasn't wasn't too crazy about cause she says nobody makes tortillas de harina better than her. Both of my brothers had carne guisada. My brother's friend had the Mexican plate. They were all happy with their choice. I chose the chicken fried chicken. It was good if just a tad dry, so I should have asked for the chicken fried steak like I started to in the first place. All in all, we all had...

I really like the breakfast here! We pay 21 dollars for 2 breakfast plates with drinks, they have a variety of plates to choose from and the prices vary. I like the chorizo and egg with beans, potato squares and I get toast. The employees here are attentive incase we need anything or refills. The service is great, and restaurant is nice, old...
