We have ordered their amazing tamales to take home an freeze for holidays or events. But this was the first time we dined in. We had the shrimp tacos, mushroom taco and a brisket taco with the sides of pinto beans and macaroni and cheese. They were nearly out of pinto beans(which the little serving container was nearly full still) but they said since it wasn’t a full order, they gave us the baked beans for free. Read moreI ate there three days in a row while buck hunting. I had the 3 meat sandwich w/ a side of green beans, a Texas tater with brisket, and the nachos with portobello mushroom fajitas. The 3 meat sandwich was great! Of the 3 meats (brisket, pulled pork, jalapeño-cheese sausage) the sausage was the standout. The Texas tater was soft and buttery before all the fixin's were puled on top so it was both delicious and plentiful. Even as a self avowed mushroom lover, I had reservations about whether or not mushrooms belong on nachos... they most certainly do. Great family place. AJ was present and quite personable. I expected the cheese to be better instead of a bland canned cheese anyone can purchase. The meat however had good flavor.
