Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Ely

I want to say that I hardly complain especially when it comes to fast food. I've worked fast food/restaurant work when I was 16 up until my early 20's. I don't expect amazing service but tonight was really disappointing. I ordered 1/3 Guam bacon burger. I told the cashier I didn't want tomatos on it. She didn't mark it on the ticket and I could see because of the screen. I politely asked again, "Please, no tomatoes." She then added it. A little annoying but at least we're square. Then was given my receipt and my to go number. She walked away and didn't give me my cup. Annoyed but I'll get one when I get my order. After waiting about 5-7 minutes, I see my crosscut fries are being put in my bag. I saw the girl accidentally drop half of them on the floor. I was standing right by the register and heard/saw her tell a coworker. They decided to not compensate for the spillage with even normal fries but instead short change me on my fries. I half expected to be asked if I wanted it all in a bag anyway but no, it came on a tray.

It was like this on every order I witnessed this person take. The menu is clear. People seemed to know what they wanted and this "Fast Food Meal Counselor" simply could not just take the order. The line of people waiting to order got longer and longer as I sat and ate my #1 WITH CHEESE, large fries and LARGE...

My family and I stopped here on our way to southern Arizona from Idaho. The first time we stopped was on our way south and we went through the drive through. I ordered one of the $5 meals with a cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. I am a picky eater so I ordered both sandwiches plain. The man who took my order and also handed me my food out the window made sure himself that both sandwiches were plain and he was so happy and upbeat. The second time we stopped was on our way back home to Idaho a few days later and the service from the employees was amazing! I’ve never experienced such great service from a fast food chain before. The food was fresh and hot. After eating at a Carl’s Jr. in Quartzsite, AZ that had awful service and awful food it was refreshing to have a good experience in little Ely, NV. So thank you to the employees who obviously worked together as a team and made the experience so great! Keep up...
