Dunkin' — Restaurant in Emmett Charter Township

Stopped at Dunkin’ at 14301 Beadle Lake Rd in Battle Creek on my way to Chicago. The location is convenient right off I‑94 inside a gas station and even offers a few seats if you don’t want to eat in the car .

👍 What I liked:

The breakfast sandwiches (like the Bacon Wake Up Wrap and sourdough sandwich) were tasty and held me over until lunch. Good convenience and flavor for the price .

The coffee and drinks were reliable, exactly what I expected from Dunkin’, and the staff were friendly and helpful .

The donuts are pre‑made and reheated—not fresh-baked—so they tasted a bit generic compared to local shops that make everything daily .

I noticed minor order inconsistencies mentioned by other reviewers, like occasional wrong additives or cold hash browns—likely due to inconsistent preparation or staff training .

Would give zero stars if possible. They need some very serious food safety training. Very immature staff yesterday morning. The boy and girl placing the donuts were playing around. All were wearing gloves, but then the girl proceeds to put her hands all over the back side of the cashier, thinking it'd be funny to make sticky hand prints all over him. And then of course she went back to handling donuts with the same dirty gloves. Even the cashier was wearing gloves, working the cashier, handling dirty money, and then handling donuts as well. It was a head shaker. Please train your employs when to wear gloves and when to replace them. Thankful the line was long and slow so we had time to watch all of this before deciding to eat anything. I went to dunkin donuts and I asked for a small, frozen coffee with caramel and instead of giving me coffee, the two little blonde girls gave me syrup that tastes like coffee but actually tastes like chocolate milk.And then when I asked her to remake it with coffee, she remade the same thing, and gave me the same thing again. So I proceeded to call Dunkin Donuts to ask for a refund and of course they don't have a number you can call, and then when you call the gas station number nobody answers no matter how many times you call. So the service was poor and I didn't get what I asked for even though The customer is always right.
