Fox’s Pizza Den — Restaurant in Emmett Charter Township

If the pizza wasn't as good as it is this wouldn't be a two star review, it would be a one star. I can't complain about the pizza. It's one of the best pizzas in town. However, the rest of their food options are sub par for the price. Garlic parm wings would be good if they were not just coated on one side. The ingredients for their grinders appear to be bulk food. I think the BLTs were made with beacon bits. Their onion rings are clearly frozen and heated up, but they cost as much as surrounding restaurants hand dipped onion rings. The service is fine, but I think the manager was a teenager. No legal adults appeared to be in the building. Which brings us to why the dining area appeared to be a dual purpose storage area. There were delivery magnet signs on the floor, and stuck to the side of their soda cooler. There was a non-operational peice of kitchen equipment. The soda machine was out of ice, and a you had to scoop out ice from a second Ice machine on the floor, which I watched a customer scoop out ice with both the scoop and his hand, dirty hands mind you. The tables had a film on them, and the floors and base boards where visibly dirty. There were stains on the wall where it appeared someone had written there name with a condiment, and they didn't bother to repaint. The staff all had flour and sauce stains on their cloths. This looks like a combination of very poor management, and a business owner who cares more about cost savings than they do about providing a quality dinning experience. 2024: Back to a 1 star. Received 2 pizzas and breadsticks, ALL undercooked so bad we had to put them in the over to finish cooking them so they didn't taste like straight dough! Contacted the help chat and was told sorry but the food was cooked the way I ordered it.....Seriously? You don't even get that option online and why would "undercooked " even be an option? Needless to say we are done, I won't eat somewhere that is this rude and blatantly disrespectful!

Update: Originally a 2 Star review. Owner contacted me the following morning to apologize over my original review below. We had a brief conversation and I was happy to accept the apology...which made my family happy because we can continue to order from them lol.

Used to love this place because it's good pizza (only reason this isn't a 1 star) however after tonight I'll order somewhere else. Was told 45-55mins for delivery, called after 80 mins and told they got slammed and short a driver then said it would be another 15mins or so. So an hour and 45 mins for delivery (or more, hasn't shown up yet) and not only did they not offer a discount for the inconvenience when I asked, the kid basically got short with me and when I said I wouldn't be ordering any more he just ok and hung up. Nice...

First I would like to start off by saying thank you to the polite gentleman working in the back. It was a late evening and I needed dinner for my family, I have never been to foxes but it was near my daughters dance practice so I thought we'd give it a try. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and breadstick deal online I paid online and even tipped. When I walked in, the girl behind the counter couldn't even bother to lift her eyes my way. After standing at the counter, the only customer in there I said, "hello" She mumbled something under her breath and walked away. The man working in the back looked at her then sympathetically at me. He started to walk towards the counter, and she snapped at him "just don't run any credit cards" I told him my name and that it was already paid for. He said have a nice day and that was it, that was all she had to do. So sick of the loss of customer service lately, I'm buying your product, I'm picking it up myself, I am standing at your counter smiling and you don't even have the decency to look at me. Just rude I hope she finds a new job that doesn't deal with people. Or put her in the back and let the kid that was helpful work...
