Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Enid

I was in Enid running errands and wanted a quick bite, so I stopped at this Sonic for a burger and fries. In my experiences, Sonics are kinda hit & miss with their food, at least the ones in the smaller towns that I have visited.

But my burger and fries were excellent at this Sonic. Service was extremely fast. My cheeseburger was hot, loaded with vegetables and obviously freshly cooked. Sometimes Sonic burgers are dry, tasteless and have cold buns. Not this burger! I usually can't even eat a whole Sonic burger, but I ate almost every bite. Sonic's burgers are big, in my opinion. The fries were very hot, crispy outside and tender in the middle. I usually find Sonic's fries to be cold and just not very tasty.

This was my first time at this Sonic, and to me there was a world of difference between this one and the one on the west side of town. So I will certainly try this Sonic again, and hopefully this wasn't just a fluke. Today's food reminded me of 30-40 years ago when Sonics burgers &...

What has happened to this location? This was my favorite one to go to and the past few months the service has been horrible. A few times I’ve ended up leaving after waiting around 10 minutes for someone to wait on me, a few other times I’ve been left with my order taking up to 30 minutes for my order to be ready and these times they weren’t busy and my orders were not larger just a couple of drinks and burgers with fries. The past 2 weeks the orders have not only been slow but inaccurate and all I’ve ordered is 3 drinks but it’s been 1-2 brought out and not even the correct size. Would reccomended this place at all. Was trying to go there regular because of location but you will not get everything you ordered, you'll get cut off ordering, and twice I was told a total just to have the person come( I usually tip 3-5$ ) and well the price was I guess told before everything was on there and I look like I'm trying to short them a few bucks. I asked for ranch 3 times. 2 in speaker, then got out and asked another car hop just to be told yes in a minute and that time they never came back the next finally gave me one for the 5 of us.
