They say third timeās the charm, but not in this case. The first visit I had back in April was great bc the owner was working. The second, and most recently third, times were not so great.
My second visit, I ordered a breakfast bagel but the associate said they were out of a certain ingredient so I had a backup plan. My backup plan was also a breakfast bagel, but the associate did not actually warm or āpressā my bagel. Instead, it was wrapped in aluminum foil cold. If Iām paying upwards of $10 (tip included) for a breakfast bagel, I expect better.
My third visit was this morning. The same associate working today was the associate who served me a cold breakfast bagel. She always seems to have an attitude and isnāt warm and welcoming. These are traits that create a vibe in a coffee shop. These vibes donāt exist here. The muffins my friend and I ordered were dry.
My friend also was handed the wrong change (he was short changed $10 and had to speak up to get his full amount of change back).
I was also told, by the owner during my first visit here, that I would receive $1 off my hot beverage if I brought my own mug in. I did that this morning, and didnāt get the discount. Instead, the associate with the attitude said sheās never heard of such discount. It seems like there is a lack of communication...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I chose to stop by this coffee shop in town due to the high ratings and outside appearance of the shop. Itās actually a very cute shop inside and out, however when we walked through the front door we were greeted with blank stares, almost as if the barista didnāt want us in there. Not even a āHelloā , nor did she ask to take my order. It is a very very small shop and we were the only people In there so this made for an awkward entry. I walked up to the counter and kindly placed my order, although I felt unwelcome. I run a successful coffee stand in Idaho and was so surprised by the lack of customer service. I understand people have bad days but I truly felt so unwelcome in this establishment. Good coffee and the pastries looked amazing, I would have ordered some and stuck around to enjoy my coffee but I felt so uncomfortable being there. Wonāt be back, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe coffee was good but the service was not. Yes, I don't live in Ennis or even Montana for that matter, but I wouldn't bite the hand that feeds you... The employees were rude and when I commented on no tax, one of them made a comment about knowing that if you lived in Montana, and then laughed... I actually have a lot of family in Ennis. This wasn't the only place in Montana that made me feel less than for not being a local... Funny thing is, living in Sarasota Florida, we get a lot of people from out of town. I know that they help our economy and would never dream of being rude to someone spending their money in my town. Overall, in my three weeks in Ennis, I spent almost a thousand dollars on gifts for family, art and coffee... and I would guess that is on the low end of what people spend...
