UPDATED REVIEW 7/18/24 I just wanted to update this review just to bring some sort of awareness to what happened. I was there around July 5th with my lady and her son. As I was eating this time around, unfortunately there was a bone in my burger, and it CRACKED my TOOTH. So, like I said just to bring awareness I wanted to edit my previous review that I had on here. Just be careful when eating here.
A friend recommended we try this spot while we were in town as it's one of the only food joints in the area, so we did. We got the Double Pepper Jack Burger meal. Starting with the fries, they had a light crisp with lots of potato in it. They were pretty big fries, and they were very good. Moving on to the burger, when I say this is one of the better burgers I've ever had, I mean it. The patty was well seasoned, and you could taste that with every bite. It had everything on it, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions which felt really fresh, and I believe there was a fry sauce on it or something like it. As you can see it was a big burger and you would think it would maybe fall apart with all the stuff in it, but it didn't. The bun didn't get soggy and the burger itself stayed in contact until it was finished. I know for a fact if we are back in the area that this will be a spot we...
Read moreGreat food for a little hole in the wall, and with the recent development in the area, maybe they'll get more recognition for their good eats. I wasn't so sure about the thick buns on their burgers at first, and felt like it may result in mouthfuls of boring food. Yet as the veggies, melted cheese and juices softened the bread, and my grip flattened it, I understood. By the last few fantastic, soft bites, I knew what a perfect choice of bread they'd made.
The Piccadilly fries (breaded square bits of potato, fried, for the unaware) were awesome. Crunchy outside and pillow soft inside.
Between two adults, we had a pepperjack burger, a bacon cheeseburger, and one order of Piccadilly fries, and it was very satisfying. Could we have eaten more? Probably, but we weren't at all disappointed, we were content and felt good, and that's what food should do for you.
Not really sure what that guy saying "Go to St. George or Cedar City" was on about, as someone who's got family in the former and who goes to the latter several times a year. I'm really picky about places, and this one is great. Just a good ol' reliable burger spot with fresh veggies and condiments and a surprisingly brilliant and unique sandwich bun choice. Don't wait if you're hungry, just stop...
Read moreIf I had the option to give stars for two different categories i would. This food is so worth it which is why I keep coming back. The speed and customer service are almost the worst I've ever seen. A bunch of teenage kids who know next to nothing about keeping customers happy. I've sat at the window for 15 to 20 minutes more than once when they weren't busy without one person even walking over to let me know anything about when I'll get my food, or even get my payment. I've managed restaurants, and these employees aren't being trained well. I've also called before just to try and get my order in before I get there, and have been left on hold for over 15 minutes. Not really on hold though. They just set the phone on the counter and let you listen to the fact that you're being ignored. So if you have plenty of time to waste waiting to actually get your food, then come here. If you are in any kind of time crunch, don't bother. Also, just expect that they may not have the items you want. It's happened to me multiple times as of late. Poor planning when it comes to...
