Cow Palace Creamery — Restaurant in Epping

Went here with my girlfriend for her birthday. Saw the reviews and pictures online of the frappes and how amazing the looked. I was very disappointed for the price that I went back up to the window to make sure I was actually rung in correctly for what I ordered. I got the 2 specialty ones that were 14 dollars each, the cup was only half full and the rest was whipped cream with some pretzels and caramel on it. My girlfriends was the same but with Oreos and chocolate syrup. I finished mine in a few sips it was very liquid and then it was all whipped cream. For 28 dollars I don’t feel like it was well spent especially when a regular frappe is 8 dollars. I asked the employees about it and it seemed they kinda didn’t know what to say but were very apologetic and nice about it. The grounds are beautiful here with the games and the pond, great to bring kids but with what I spent I could have gotten a way better value at any of the other local ice...

My friend, she had a Palace Sundae with black raspberry. Credit 💳/debit cards accepted. We had half off 📴 our 🍦 ice-cream because it was the last day of the season. We discovered this place by accident. It's not listed in a Google search 🔎 for 🍦 ice-cream near me. Only issue, we had a swarm of flies that wouldn't leave us and others alone. My friend bought me a pint of German Chocolate Cake 🍦 ice-cream, which was half off. It is very good! Update: September 2025: The Mint Chip tasted similar to other Mint Chip ice-cream that I have had at other places. But there were large chocolate chips in CPC's! No flies this time. Tonight, my bf and I went to check this place out because of the specialty frapes advertised online. To say the least, I am extremely disappointed with what I got. We each got a specialty frap, ringing in at $28!!! It’s my birthday and said what the heck, I’ll try it, for that price it MUST be overwhelming awesome. It was not, not even close. I received a Styrofoam cup with what looked like what I’m assuming their $8 frape would look like. My Oreo specialty frape had some whip cream and the other one had nothing, just runny liquid ice cream. I asked what made this a specialty frape, the answer I got was not impressive and they didn’t offer a resolution. I didn’t want to be rude since the employees were young, so I just said thank you and ate the cost. Sorry but I would not recommend this place.
