Showed up here in a group of 12 and was expecting a wait to get our food considering it was the lunch rush hour plus our 12 people. What followed was asking for refills and never getting them, placing orders for appetizers only to be told an hour later that they were out of what we ordered. The only time our waitress ever gave us an update or visited us was to tell us about the missing appetizer. So, after waiting an hour and 45 minutes for our food and only being seen by the waitress once, never getting refills, and being told our appetizer (which should’ve been out 45 minutes ago) didnt exist, we eventually did get our food. The steak bomb was covered in grease and burnt to a blackened crisp, the waitress forgot my aunts soup and salad, the chicken tenders were tasteless and pre frozen (just to address a few problems we had). After everything was said and done, we noticed that on the menu it states “groups of 6 or more will have an automatic 18% tip added to the bill” which is reasonable. Considering our service and awful food we decided to leave it at an 18% tip and the waitress complained in our face about the tip!!!! This place is a joke and I will...
Read moreMy husband and daughter and I just tried to get lunch at this restaurant, while there were no other customers there, and they couldn't handle it. My husband ordered a turkey sub and they left the turkey off! How hard is a plain turkey sub? I ordered the elk burger with the works and it came with nothing on it... my 2 yr old got the spaghetti and it was cold a well as the garlic bread being so overloaded with garlic that it made her cry. That's on top of the fact that the waitress was very below par. If she had done the right things to correct the issues she could have saved the situation... But she made no apologies and simply brought out the smallest piece of turkey on a side dish and a blob of something she expected me to put on my burger. At nearly $10 a plate this is simply unacceptable. WOULD...
Read moreGreat little spot- low key- no frills at all- charming. Its a little country pub. I came in for a bite on my way from Sugarloaf into NH. I noticed alot of snowmobiles parked in the lot- apparently this is THE spot. People were picking up and taking food back out to their snowmobile camps.
Bartender was awesome- drinks were good and priced well- I ordered the BISON 🦬 Burger and it was top notch- delicious. Very simple- but done perfectly. Apparently there's an elk and bison farm right down the road- that's as fresh as it gets!
Patrons seemed to be all snowmobilers and locals - nice people. If I'm up there again I'm definitely swinging by. Just a heads up- it seemed like the food takes a REALLY long time...
