Went in there today at 7:40pm. They took our food and drink order. We got our drinks but an hour later still no food. They never checked on us, just kept helping the other customers. Once we realized they were about to close and they were already cleaning the kitchen we just left. Never plan on going back. Not sure why we were ignored and treated like that. Maybe my skin wasn’t light enough.
Response to the owner. Just like I said in the review, I went in there today. That one have been exactly a week ago. So it as last Friday 3/8/24. It was a little busy but there was empty tables. They sat us promptly. It was a smaller petite girl that took our order. She must have been still training because another girl helped her take the order. We ordered our food 2 water, 1 sprite and a large root beer float. We told the waitress we were going to share the float. She came back with the drinks and apologized for the float being so messy. It was overflowing and making a mess. She said she would bring a towel and clean it up. We told her it was no big deal and we just used napkins to wipe it down. Everything was great at this point at was about 7:50pm now. I commented to my kids I’m glad me got here with plenty of time we don’t ever need to be people that come in at the last minute. 50 minutes later my son says, they are telling the people outside it’s time to go. I replied our food has to be on the way then. It never came my son and daughter where devastated by our treatment and wanted to just leave without paying. I told them we are not crooks and left $8 to cover the drinks...
Read moreJust ate here for the first time and was very glad we stopped. We had the Hula Burger with Pepper Jack Cheese and Fries which i asked for extra crispy. So many times i order the fries crispy and it's like the people don't even care, and cook it like normal instead of giving it an extra couple of minutes that i had requested when i ordered extra crispy fries. But this place nailed it. The fries were light and airy and crispy and tasted very fresh, not the old oil taste you get at some small establishments. The burger to go, is in a foam to go box, and they don't put it all together. They put the lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle, or whatever fixing you ordered with your burger on the side, which i really like. It keeps the bun from getting too soggy. Speaking of bun, i appreciate that if was fresh and perfectly toasted. I can't wait to try it again.
This is a review of the food not the restaurant itself. I did not go into the restaurant, i ordered by the front window, so i have no knowledge how the inside seating area looked nor did i check out the bathroom. The front order area was clean and the girl that took my order was very friendly. They do have a little fountain in the seating area that looks as if it is in need of repair, because there was a puddle of water near the base of it. But that is not what I'm reviewing, I'm reviewing the food and i do recommend you give if a try. They say they are the best Burger and i don't know if it's the best because i haven't tried every Burger place around but i do know it's the best Burger I've had in a...
Read moreWould give zero stars if possible. Let’s be clear, this is an old-fashioned diner, not a restaurant. Maybe it’s trying to be a restaurant, but the building itself leads you to believe otherwise. There’s tables outside and a walk-up window underneath a giant menu board, which is practically screaming “order here.” So I stand at the counter behind a man picking up his food, he takes his order and leaves. My turn. However, the waitress just turns around and walks away, so I’m just standing there for like three minutes. Another waitress comes over and says, “Have you been helped yet? Let’s get you a menu.” When I told her I didn’t need a menu, she also turned around and just walked away. I’m thinking I’m in the twilight zone at this point. It’s probably about three more minutes before the first girl finally comes back and says “Did you need something?” At this point I’m past annoyed, I literally just stopped for an ice cream cone to share with my two-year-old, and I’ve yet to be served or even properly greeted. The girl tries to explain that it’s table service, but I just wanted to order my cone and leave; however, she’s insisting that I have a seat and she’ll “send someone right over.” Like no thanks, I’ve seen your speed of service and there’s literally zero sense of urgency. So I just left, with a crying toddler and no ice cream cone. If you want people to think it’s table service, maybe post a sign at the entrance that says “Please seat yourself,” or tell your staff to explain that to your guests before they stand at the counter like an idiot for...
