Mi Tierra Taqueria — Restaurant in Escalon

Came in on a Friday evening with a larger group, and we ended up at different tables, not a big deal, but when we tried to order, while sitting at a completely different table, the waitress told us we couldn't be on a separate tab....um...huh? How would it be any different if we all came in separately? I get she was the only waitress l, but the place is small, like way small, if that's a concern then have people order at the counter like other taquerias, and then it's easier. But she ended up splitting the tabs anyway!🙄 Regardless, I got the fajita taco salad, and my husband got pazole. We were the first ones to order, and we got our food last- I got my salad dead last, like after people had already finished eating AND after people who came in later, and ordered well after we did, they even got their food before me. She also tried to give my kid's chicken nuggets to another kid who didn't even order them. She gave the wrong taco salads to the wrong people, she didn't know what part of the food coming out of the kitchen was...And my husband's soup....it's already done how does it take so long?! This was our first experience here, and unless we are in town and craving some pazole, and don't have time to go elsewhere, it will more than likely...

I've been to this place several times in the past. We stopped going ever since we found another place with great food. We decided to go there for Mother's Day and were very disappointed service was the worst ever. I know it's not the waitress fault she had no control over the food. We received 2 out of 3 plates ordered. They took at least another 15 or so minutes for a campechana to be brought out. Tortillas were brought after my son had already finished his food and brought the wrong ones. The waitress then brought the right ones, but he was done with his food. In the past, the service was great. Now, it just went down the drain. Will not be supporting this business again. Waitress was apologetic, and we did tell her it was...

Very bad experience I order five items which she repeated back my order to me. come home with only four burritos called them they said okay come back and will give you the tacos I go back to the restaurant showed my receipt then she tells me they did not charge me for the tacos but she can now if I want to. I did not bring no purse just my keys and phone and receipt. I told her I had my family at home at the table waiting for me to bring tacos home to say grace as we eat our food well that didn’t happen. Also before COVID hit they would recycle the chips that people did not eat....
