Moe's Hideout Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Etna Green

I had a great experience at this restaurant! I saw on their Facebook page that they had a prime rib special, so I decided to give it a try, and it didn’t disappoint—the food was delicious. I also enjoyed a nice cold beer at a really good price.

The atmosphere was great; one TV had the football game on, and I asked the staff to switch one of the other TVs to the hockey game, which they were more than happy to do. It was nice not to have to shout over the noise of the game to talk to my friend—it was a comfortable, conversation-friendly vibe.

Service was quick and friendly, and everything came out just right. The locals seemed to be enjoying themselves, and I didn’t pick up on any of the "snob" vibes another reviewer mentioned—just a good, relaxed spot to chill.

One thing to note: I saw a review where someone complained about the management being “hostile,” but after visiting, it was clear to me that the complaint was more about a parking issue (apparently related to the apartments out back). That’s definitely not a reflection of the restaurant itself, and I think it's worth mentioning that the staff and atmosphere were more than welcoming. Oh, and during Christmas, they did a really cool Santa event with hot chocolate, cookies, and free family photos. Just another reason this comment stood out to me as odd.

Sadly Food Quality a 1 Star

Jalapeño poppers had very light breading that crumbled off the appetizer when you pick it up ….small and no flavor

The cheese sticks were smaller than your normal app size ( maybe 2 inches long) and light breaded . We honestly thought they were mini cheese sticks . No flavor

The Pizza was the biggest disappointment . Very light, skimmed on toppings and the cheese amount was at a minimum. The crust was thinner than paper towel … Flavor was average and forgettable. Honestly frozen mama cici’s would be a better option.

Positives :

The draft beer was cold and priced very affordable

The Service was solid

1 TV in the bar area was on and no background music . You could hear other couples conversations

Outside - no lighting … very dark . No...

Management is very hostile to the locals who live in the apartments out back, and clearly does not appreciate...
