I ordered a New York strip steak that was supposed to be 14 ounces that came with fingerling potatoes and a side of French style green beans. When the meal came the steak was considerably smaller than 14 ounces, it was ordered as medium rare and came medium well, the green beans did not appear and there was spinach on my plate, I asked in reference to why the wrong side dishes was on my plate And they simply said they were out of it and never gave me the opportunity when I ordered to change the side dish because I would not of ordered it because I do not like spinach. When I pointed out the wrong side dish and pointed out that the steak was overcooked they did absolutely nothing to my bill to address the situation. I left the table with more than half of my food still sitting on it and half of the nice dry steak that I was given. We all make mistakes but the true measure of a business is how they resolve the mistakes and they did absolutely nothing to resolve my...
Read moreWe are new to the area, decided to give this local place atry. No one greeted us at the door- restaurant was dead, so we just seated ourselvesđ(strike one) Only 1 employee in the place, running bar, taking orders, and pretty sure she might have been cooking too etcâŚ(felt a lot like an episode of Sponge Bob!) (strike 2) No one but us eating in this place and took almost 30 minutes for our appetizer consisting of soup, and 2 rolls(strike 3- we should have left then!) Our Main course arrived: Shrimp scampi pasta- the noodles were like a bowl of rubber pieces in this watery mess that someone poured salt into. You could literally bounce the shrimp off the table!đđđ Iâve never had any Food this bad even at fastfood(strike four and done) The only positiveâŚthey gave us our meal free because we DIDNâT eat it. And the server/bartender/ cook offered it seemingly embarrassed and apologetic that our experience and the food was so bad. My advice ..go somewhere else or go...
Read moreMy wife and I had a rare night without the kids and we decided on Cumberland Trail Bar & Grill. It was a beautiful late spring, early summer evening so we decided to sit outside which was a great choice until the sun wend down. My wife got the Southwest egg rolls with their fried pickle fries which were out of this world. I got their famous fish and chips, and believe me there is a reason this dish is famous. The fries were fresh cut inhouse spiced real potatoes that stood alone but were kicked up a notch with some apple cider vinegar over the top. The fish (while notably smaller than I remember from my last experience) was two hand battered fried helpings of white fish that you normally see at a restaurant next to a large body of water (meaning it was very fresh and obviously prepared by someone who knows how to properly make fish). I will say I could have used one more helping of fish the portion just seemed smaller however we will, without a...
