I was excited to play here because two separate people recommended this course to me. Granted the weather has not been great the past couple weeks but the course was in horrible shape. Fairways completely soaked, yellow brown grass, and overall just not great playing conditions. Starter mentioned no less than 6 times about a 90 degree cart rule, okay great, see attached photos of said cart path you’re required to drive on. It’s gotta be 20 years old, never maintained and filled with potholes worse than downtown! Also not to mention we had a tee time at 8:30 this morning (granted not that early but early enough) and didn’t finish playing until nearly 1:45pm. The reason was that they allowed two groups of 4 in front of our three groups of 4 to walk the course. Which if anyone has played here, they would know some of the distances between the holes are likely up to 1/4 of a mile. So, unacceptable that they would allow walking intermixed with cart golf. When we mentioned it to the starter/grounds crew, they said there was nothing they could do to speed up play. Overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience and I’m severely disappointed since I had heard great things about this course. Not to mention the price of a weekday round which was $56 which is outrageous for a course so poorly maintained and managed.

My initial response is disappointed. The pro shop personnel were not professional nor friendly. We didn't start on time and were paired with someone from an earlier tee time, still started after our tee time. The ranger complained about the two foursomes in front of us and made it seem like we should play faster. Was I supposed to hit into them? Overall the course was in good condition but not worth the tee fee.

One of the best public courses in the area! Not a lot of elevation change throughout the course though the layout is still a nice mix of holes to keep you challenged. The course was in great condition and despite the course being rather busy, the pace of play was still pretty good!! Will definitely be back!

Easter 22 here. Awful and disappointing! Ate at 1 pm. Right away the supposedly salad station had nothing but just salad and dressings. Everyone had ate the other items and nothing was refilled for the time we were there. The line for the buffet was long long long. When we made it up there, empty pans of eggs, French toast, bacon, chicken, beef etc. With apparently no Refills coming! The seasonal salad station was devastated with pieces of random fruit and cheese laying here and there. We never did see the patios period. If it had been there it was not there for the time we where there. And the desserts!? There were only 2 to pick from when we made it to that part of our meal. And one was a brownie something that was so stale you could break off your teeth. Nothing else just 2 items. Awful. The menu said a array of desserts. Really? And mind you, no one was even around trying to fill up any food they had ran out of. Honestly, if you can’t handle that many patrons/customers do not fill your place wall to walk with customers expecting a wonderful Easter Lunch/brunch only to be terribly disappointed. We had been the last so many years there and this one experience was many times worse...

This course has always been somewhere on my top 10 list of places to play in Central Ohio; now undoubtedly it is number 1. The new(er) management and staff are the exact opposite of their predecessors.. thank god. The staff is very welcoming, nice, and i love how they are investing back into the course and making really nice enhancements.

This place is full of signatures holes scattered everywhere; for example, number 6 is now one of my favorite par 3’s around.. it has been renovated and now features an island green that requires a solid and strategic shot that at times can be pretty intimidating due to the wind conditions and pin location that day. (This hole is always a determining factor in who comes out on top in a fun round against friends).

The scenic course layout and various tee locations will challenge (in a fair way.. no pun intended) golfers of all skill levels and make for a very fun round of golf. Additionally, the major increase in hospitality and friendliness due to the relatively new management team and change in ownership now make this my favorite course to play in...
