Gyro George - Euclid — Restaurant in Euclid

My husband and I ordered gyro breakfasts (for him and our son), and a gyro for myself. The cashier was rude, and lacking in customer service skills. She yelled, "You can't bring him in here!", when my husband and I walked in ( I was carrying my Maltipoo). I explained that He is an Emotional Support Animal, and that her tone was unnecessary. She asked for the certificate, which I had in my purse, but I handed Pup Pup to my husband and asked if he would go to the car with him, so I could complete the order. Finished the order, which she got wrong so I had t wait. Two tall young gentlemen came in, and she forgot to give him change. She made a smart comment, and he told het to keep it. He told her that maybe she needed to find another line of work, as her customer service skills were lacking. She mumbled under her breath that 'people need to get their orders straight"...etc....She was toxic. The food was good, but the service was sorely lacking. We wont be returning to...

I’ve always ate at this place without any issues. Reasonable food for decent price. It was not until yesterday I attempted to call in a order, when the mother answered she was RUDE quick and eventually acted like she was having phone issues and hung up in my face. I called back just to be hung up on again. I had no attitude with her, I gave her no reason to be so NASTY. As I attempted to leave the father acted as if he was about to shove me out the door, but for his sake I’m happy he didn’t make me fear for my life. You’re seeing these people treat those who bring them the most business like trash. Talk to them anyway, fight customers, etc. From that point I told them I’ll NEVER come bck, and neither will my family. As a business owner myself, I can say they will not get anymore good feedback from me. I used to eat at Gyro George all the time, but moved further away years back. In the past, I would have given a full 5 because the food was tasty and the owner was so kind. It's been about 7 or 8 years since I had them and decided to splurge ordering a few jumbo gyro combos for my fiancé and myself from Doordash and spent $60 in total on this splurge. They just don't taste like how I remember nor as good, to get to the point. They pile on the meat like they used to for sure, but the edges weren't crisp, there was almost no lettuce, the cucumber sauce was way thicker and not as flavorful and the gyro tasted slightly soapy for some reason. I'm giving it 3 stars mainly because they pile on the meat, the fries are still tasty and the only thing that was an improvement to the past was that the tomatoes were cut thinner and weren't hard like back then.
