Our second time eating here. First was at lunch time and now dinner. Food was good. I got something fried and hubby got a salad. Fried just right. I preferred filet than bone in catfish, which was done the first time. The service was just below average. But both times, the hush puppies that came with meal was non-existent. Why did we forget to mention until we leave that it was not served? Well after waiting for your food, we were so hungry when the food was served that we didn't miss the absence of hush puppies. We had a 20 min wait the first time, then an hour wait second time. We had the same waitress at both visit. Won't be going back. Friday afternoon I ate at BNB. No complaint with the food. Very good. I had a loaded baked potatoe which was very big. They give you two very very small butters. Maybe the size of a dime. So I ask for two additional butters. When we got home my husband said do you know they charged you fifty cent for the butter. I could not believe they would charge a customer who paid fifteen dollars for a potato for two little tiny butters. I don’t believe I’ve ever paid for extra butter before It’s not the fifty cents. It’s just the principle of the thing We would have been regular customers because the food was good. But we have no plans to go back I think it’s bad treatment...

I had the 5 piece catfish plate and my husband had the small bbq pork plate. The servings were so big we had enough for dinner too. The catfish was some of the best I've ever had!! The plate came with 3 whole fish and 2 fillets plus 2 sides. I actually liked the whole fish over the fillets...the coating was so light you could really taste the fish. We had a late lunch...service was excellent and our food came out quickly. We are just passing thru the area but planning on going again before we leave. Update: we went back several days later...got same main dishes with different sides and it was just as delicious as...
