Having enjoyed their bagels with cream cheese at Jacqua Center on campus we decided to make a trip to the store. They got my partner's order wrong, they gave him the lox spread but he decided to go ahead and eat it to avoid waste. It didnt smell or taste very fresh, (we both love lox) and he got food poisoning. Its hard to go wrong with my usual bagel and cream cheese, (especially since you cant expect it to be warm NYC where the bagels are fresh out of the oven and dont need to be toasted) but the cappuccino while generous was sour and bitter. The onions in their bialys were fresh sauteed and not caramelized but its cool that you have two options for bialys in Eugene (Barrys & Lox). Overall, we recommend going in the morning for bagels/bialys to-go, and be cautious ordering the mixed spreads as they may not be fresh. Compared to NYC, asides from the lack of chew, the shape is different. There is barely a hole, so more like a bagel roll...

Jersey Boy meets Jersey Bagel in Eugene, Oregon. Say, Yes! to the Porkrollegg'n'cheez Bagel. I did, I have, and I will again. A personable place serving persons of interest interesting foods. I well imagine an inter-resting monster would enjoy these bagels. Nice people working hard and working together here. Professional yet courteous. Motivated yet cool. Relaxed yet on-the-go. My only quibble? The Whitefish Salad. The fish is broken down too much with too many unnecessary ingredients. The Whitefish itself is nice and smoky. Let it stand on its own without all that sour cream, cream, mayonnaise, whatever all that white stuff is. Like I say, I am quibbling. The place had people in and out. Bagels rolling out. Goodness rolling out. Excellent atmosphere. I gots the shake rattled and Rolls while...

Update 2/16/24: we've been regularly getting bagel breakfast sandwiches for the past 2 years here, but today's didn't live up to the normal standard. The bagel wasn't toasted like I think it normally is and the cheese seemed like a cheap sliced American instead of a good cheddar. It didn't melt like it normally does. The bagel also seemed smaller. I'm hoping this is just an "off" day and not a regular thing.

Previous review: Stopped in today and grabbed some breakfast. So happy we did! The options are fantastic! The employees were all friendly and helpful. They had some great suggestions. The bagels are a perfect crispy outside, chewy inside. Can't wait to go back to try the Mediterranean cream cheese! I heard it described after I had already ordered mine and it...

This is THE BEST BAGEL PLACE IN EUGENE. Hands down. The only place where I've had better bagels is Bagel St. Cafe in the Bay Area, California. If you're looking for the best bagel place in Eugene-Springfield, then look no further than Lox, Stocks & Bagels! Their bagels are "boiled and baked," which, to my knowledge, means they're boiled and then finished in the oven to give them a crispier outside. Pictured is a "sausage and egg sandwich" (also includes a slice of cheddar) on an Asiago (cheese) bagel. This is my go-to order, although I vary which flavor of bagel on which I get it. Prices are reasonable. The sausage and egg sandwich costs just $7.99 and is moderately-filling. Although, when I'm hungry, I order two. The owner, Maxwell, is a very nice gentleman.
