TASTY WINGS AND SEAFOOD — Restaurant in Evans

From the jump, the service was a joke. The cashier was glued to his phone, clearly more interested in his personal conversation than doing his job. I told him I’d been there back when they first opened in 2023—he barely acknowledged it. I was excited to finally come back for the crab legs I remembered loving, but clearly, that was a mistake.

I ordered the Country Boil with crab legs and black mussels, plus two catfish for my 2-year-old. I told him we were dining in. A few minutes later, he motions for me to grab the food—still on the phone, still barely acknowledging me. Then he has the nerve to ask if we’re dining in, even after I already told him. I remind him again, and he just ignores it and keeps packing it to-go. Like, why even ask if you’re not going to listen?

At that point, I took my baby and drove the 25 minutes back home, pissed. And when I finally opened the food? What a slap in the face. The catfish was pale and undercooked-looking, the crab legs looked old and dried out, the mussels were pathetic, and the sausage was straight-up nasty. It was like they couldn’t care less about what they were serving or who they were serving it to.

$47 down the drain for a soggy, half-assed meal that looked and tasted like leftovers from someone else’s plate. There was no pride, no professionalism, and definitely no flavor.

I forgot her name, but whoever the goddess is that's manning the register....THANK YOU! You are amazing, a people person, and this business is lucky to have you. Why aren't you on commercials for it? Everything you told my coworker and I to try was delicious. Now every review here that says they have small wings, they're a little small, but who wants those steroid induced mammoth wings? Not me? I like my wings hormone free and tasty. The lemon pepper almost made me slap my friend, but that sweet and spicy brought me back to reality. The fries were fried perfectly, and I know I'll be back to try other food. Great service is everything, and because of the hostess, we'll be back...

Okay Now… The food is pretty good. The problem is that the wings have gone A-Town size now. Meaning they have gotten super small. When they opened this location the wing were a GOOD size. We prefer Wings and Phillys up in Grovetown, but they were closed tonite. We’ve given Tasty’s several chances to redeem themselves, but seems like the wings are getting smaller and they’re being skimpy with the sides. We had a handful of fries tonight. I’m not a cheap person, but I do like to get my money’s worth. This is not happening at Tasty’s. Wings and Phillys are consistent with the size and how they prepare them.
