Waffle House — Restaurant in Evans

I love Waffle House. I usually go to a different one on the weekends. But this day We decided to stop here. We went inside. And it was down hill from there. There was a booth near the restroom door empty so we stepped to that table and a person at another table said someone was sitting there an employee said it was empty so we went to sit down this person said again someone was sitting there. I look and NoOne was there. This person said they are coming. As long as I have been going to Waffle House U Can NotHold a table you are not sitting at. The Manager said I'm giving U 3 minutes.Well 12-15 minutes later 2 people came and they went to sit with that person she told them to sit at the other table. Never has that Ever happened. So I guess everyone can hold tables for coming friends and family. And then the waitress we had got our order turned upside down. Didn't come back to check on us for refills. Not Happy will not go back to that Whouse. But I may call and reserve a booth or two.......UPDATE!! ........WELL IT'S A YEAR LATER AND WE DIDN'T LEARN FROM THE LAST VISIT TO THIS WAFFLE HOUSE..This morning we decided to eat here, we walked in house full only 4 counter chairs. waiting on morning waffle house have a seat here.....NOTHING..so we sit in the waiting chairs for 10mins noone said nothing. 1 waitress was on her phone 1 was standing looking at the others phone 1 drinking from a cup. So we left WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN..MY HEAD...

Went in for supper and ordered the All Star breakfast. Everything was served except the Waffles. We watched the cook repeatedly try to make them and each time they would stick. He would clean all of the waffle makers and try again. We sat there for at least 15 minutes and the server never came to check on us. I finally called her over and asked about the waffles and was told they’d be right out. Another 10 to 15 minutes passed before she came back and asked if we wanted the waffles taken off the bill. She proceeded to tell us they had not worked all day and the manager was actually coming in tonight to replace them. If the waffle makers hadn’t been working all day then why were they still letting people order them. I understand things happen, things break but the problem is the server never checked on us or to see if we needed anything or to explain there was a problem. I actually felt bad for the cook because he was really trying. I would see him try to say something to the servers and they would ignore him. If the server had been truthful with us then there wouldn’t...

It was terrible, the waiter was not attentive. The group that came in 10mins after us got their food before us. It may have been an easier order to fix quick. But the service was still terrible. Yes it's a New Year but the place was not that croweded. Our waiter was all outside, he had his hands in his pockets going back and forth behind the counter (not sanitary). He showed the other tables more attention, he did not come and check and see if we were ok or missing anything or wanted anything else. Yes we were missing 3 waffles and a side of sausages. Idk if they are changing the waffles presentation but they were thicker and smaller, not the thin beautiful crispy on the outside soft on the inside norm. My father had to keep getting the waiter attention and I know its annoying for the waiter but its annoying qhw the customer has to do it. Will not be going back to this location. Or I'll just stick to ordering my waffles to go like I always do and just let the family dine...
