Happy Garden — Restaurant in Evansville

So- Be me and my bf moving in 2018 we're taking a cab to get a moving truck, the cabby, who is pretty nice, takes us down a street we haven't really been down before. We're like oh look there's all these places in this area. Happy Garden? What's that we should try that sometime. The cabbie nods, "they're great." Sometime pretty soon after we try them. It's most likely not only the best priced Chinese food for how much you get but also for how delicious and fresh it is. Nothing for us has ever taken more than 10-15 mins. My boyfriend and I joke that people call up and order feasts for their party and are quoted the same time. This place is a hidden gem in Evansville. And the quality is always consistently good. Here's a picture of a plate I made with the stuff I ordered from there just a few mins ago. It looks amazing and tastes even better! I mean its not really a glamorous place to eat in but its not really designed to be a place to eat in its more a take out place, but dude if you want take out this is probably the best Chinese take out...

Personal Crab Rangoon Rating: 9/10 Perfect crunch, perfect filling to dough ratio! The filling on this one is also not too sweet but not overwhelmingly savory, it's just perfect to me. I think sometimes other places also make the filling a little too liquid-y but not this place! I will say though, they don't have that traditional rangoon shape, but honestly I don't mind with how good they taste, it's completely fine if they're a little wonky in my opinion. You get 6 crab rangoons for only $3.15! Best deal in town if you ask me I highly recommend you try this place out at least once, you'll be sad to miss out on such a life changing crab experience! ordered over $70 worth of food. Called to say there was not enough sauce to complete the order of sweet and sour chicken. Was told I could pay $1.00 for another cup. They knew I was not happy about this this and when I went in and put down my $1.00 they gave me a cup that was over half as small as the one originally served. This after I initially left a tip on my TAKE OUT FOOD!
