Marigold Bar — Restaurant in Evansville

Went here to have a couple drinks for my birthday, the live music was great, combo platter of fried goodness was super! Drink selection was sub-par, nothing unique or new, just basics. Meh. Lot of coffee drinkers. Would make me think then would want to keep the alcohol & food buyers around. Was sitting with a group of regulars, went out for a smoke break with them & came back to just my items had been cleared off (two full drinks, obviously not trash!) All of the regular's items left there untouched, but not ours.... trashed. Having your drinks dumped doesn't make you want to stay, or tip well. Doesn't have a draft other than Busch light !! The burger was still 1/2 pink on the inside as you can see in the pic. Ordered a appetizer of fried pickles and was 1st told they were out. Then, 15 minutes later-- get brought a order of fried cucumbers--- nasty !! Would have liked a 2nd beer but, waitress never came back to table again to ask. Then, had to ask another worker for my bill because that was never brought to me either. Felt the need to use the restroom before I left and unfortunately-- no lock on the door and walked straight in on someone else. Definitely...

Asked for a menu in which the bartender/waitress suggested the pork chop lunch plate but we never received a menu. We saw Merigold advertised on the CBS morning news and the food choices looked amazing on tv but when we arrived we were very disappointed in the food and selection. The server was not friendly and there was not much if any food selection choices. We ordered the BLT's but on tv they are advertised as coming with buffalo chips or fries.
