Parkway Pizza — Restaurant in Evansville

Thought we'd give this place a try and we were extremely disappointed, to say the least. Upon entering we looked to our left, behind the counter, were 3 employees sitting around on their phones. One of them said to seat ourselves & someone would be right with us. There were 2 or 3 tables seated and what looked like a baby's birthday party of about 15-20 ppl. We ordered some beer buckets, onion rings (w/ranch & honey mustard), cheese bread (with cheese dip & pizza sauce)and a pizza to take home. We were confused about the pizza toppings on the specialty pizzas. We ordered the house special and on the menu (sorry, I apologize for not getting pictures of it, as I usually do.) it states all the meats, but when it came to the vegetables it said, "LITE." I didn't know if it was an established idea or what?? Our server Penny was very nice and said if we got the 16" we would get our cheese bread free. Before deciding, we asked her why it says, "LITE". She stated that it's because there are too many toppings??? It was so weird. We decided to go with the "16 to get our cheese bread free. Our onion rings came out first with a topped foam container of ketchup. The onion rings were good, but when she brought our ranch and honey mustard they were both AWFUL! Zero flavor! Next was our cheese bread with another topped foam container of pizza sauce and one with cheese sauce. It was just bread with a cheese like substance that was NOT good. The pizza sauce was sub-par and lacked salt. The cheese sauce looked like cheese, but didn't taste like it. No cheese flavor!!!! I happened to notice in the back corner that their stuff comes from cans! Later, we had the pizza and it was one of the worst pizzas we've ever had!!! Our youngest ended up getting Domino's and it was incredible compared to Parkway. $69 for horrible food! Great service, but the food was awful. I wouldn't...

Went on a weekend evening. Nice crowd, plenty of room in the large booths & it's a large area that still feels relaxed. We ordered cheesy bread & a Houdini pizza with broccoli added. The waitress was busy, but made sure that we wanted for nothing and was friendly. We felt like we were regulars due to the friendly clientele and staff. The food was so amazing!! We were delighted to learn that they had pepsi products and ordered Mt. Dew which came immediately and cheese bread was maybe two minutes after. Bread was not oily or greasy despite the loads of cheese. We had eaten about 2/3 of our bread when pizza came and it was beautiful!! We almost hated to eat it for how pretty it was, but we got over that when we tasted it. Crispy crust, not greasy and again plenty of cheese, chicken and broccoli. I have stomach issues with greasy foods, this was awesome with no tummy upset! I rarely get to have pizza and I do enjoy it, just can't handle the consequences. I now have somewhere to get pizza and will definitely be the regulars we felt like! We had a 16" pizza, bread & drinks for around $30 with a few pieces of pizza for later, it was a great dinner for a reasonable price in a friendly place. Couldn't ask for more!! The menu prices were current in April of '24 in the photos & no I didn't use a filter of any kind on the pic I took of our meal. (Just that well presented) I would recommend this place to my most discriminating friends...

9/30/23 My husband and I went for dinner. Ordered a large meat lovers and fried mushrooms. He enjoyed the mushrooms. The pizza was the worst ever!!! It was over cooked, dry and burnt. It didn't even look like it had enough toppings like normal. The crust was so hard and for some reason thicker than normal. I don't understand how it can go from being the best pizza to the worst!!! We will definitely not be going back!!!

Went with my husband and niece and nephew. We truly enjoyed it. Hands down the best pizza and wings around!!! Prices are great.

11-12-22 there was 4 of us and this time pizza wasn't as good as normal. It had a different taste and portions of the pizza didn't have as many toppings for a meatlovers. Also, my husband got half of a stromboli and he could tell that it wasn't going to taste good and it wasn't. Total waste of money. There were 2 large groups of people with kids and they were running around the restaurant and around the salad bar. They hovered over the salad bar throwing hats across the bar. They were unsupervised by parents/family. The workers never asked the families to control their kids. They were so disruptive. I guess that says how their home life is....who runs things. My husband wanted peppers but knew they had been playing around the bar. So not cool 😑 or professional.
