Goldberg’s Original Bagels — Restaurant in Evesham Township

Very disappointed with my first time trying out this place. While I was extremely excited to do so, my scrambled egg that I ordered was merely a fried egg - chopped. Scrambled tastes different than fried - hence the reason I ordered it. I asked for cheese on the sandwich, which I don't think existed. I also ordered a separate plain bagel, and I think I received a breadstick rolled into a circle. While the taste of the bagel, or breadstick, was very good - that extra bagel could not even be used to make a sandwich out of for another time. Very disappointed, and I think the staff/cooks need to learn how to accurately SCRAMBLE and cook an egg. This place makes legit NY bagels. I grew up near one of their original locations in North NJ so maybe I’m biased but these are by far the best bagels in South NJ. The staff is friendly and they work hard during the busy times to minimize wait times but if you are ordering sandwiches I recommend calling ahead. This review is solely on the service which is an abomination. It’s ashame because the food is good but the expierience is so bad when it’s busy it’s simply not worth it. Why is someone not acknowledging the people waiting for pickup orders and explaining when they will be ready when they are running way behind.
