The Patio at Mountain View — Restaurant in Ewing Township

Well, this was a mixed bag. The space is lovely, and very nicely open for social distancing. Then drink menu was small, but the drinks we tried were delicious. We also loved our french onion soups, a lot! And our server was really sweet as well.

The rest of the experience was just ok. Short rib meal was delicious, but the portion was literally just one short rib, which was less than expected when you call it "ribs" on the menu. And forget the linguine with clams. Most of the clams were empty, the pasta water was not salted, so the pasta was bland and the sauce was equally bland. I loaded it up with parmesan cheese and had pasta a la toddler. Chocolate cake was mass produced which is fine, but it.was dry and lacking flavor too.

Honestly it was not what we had hoped for our evening. Maybe the kitchen staff was focused on the private party inside. I have a feeling this location would be better for a burger or flatbread,...

Went here to enjoy a nice dinner on the patio. We made a reservation in advance and arrived on time. We were seated in an overflow area even though there appeared to be unused tables on the nicer patio area. Once seated we waited 25 minutes with menus and no one came over to even take a drink order. Waitresses helped the others seated around us, but we were ignored. We eventually asked a passing waitress if someone was available to assist us. She questioned us about who seated us and seemed upset with us for asking. She told us that she would take care of us. Our experience got better from here out. The food was good and she provided good service. Unfortunately the initial service issue was a little hard to get past. We may try again in the future, but would probably look for other...

We ate here on a Saturday night and were disappointed with the overall experience. It's not well-marked and the staff is dressed very informally, cut off shorts, sweats and a denim jacket! Despite incoming rain and interior tables available, we were told to sit on the edge of the patio, having to push our table inward to avoid the rain. Our drinks were brought out but the waitress never took our order and we had to go inside to find someone after waiting a half hour. We were hoping the food would make up for the service, but it didn't. A steak was ordered medium-rare and came out well-done and the fries...
