Terrigno's Fairfield Inn — Restaurant in Fairfield Township

Was there last night, as usual the food is very good, but...as we entered you have a sign that says please wait to be seated. Ok, well the waitress must have been really tired, because she was seated at the bar and just yelled " you guys can sit anywhere" um ok. Unfortunatley this also happened to be our waitress. I have NEVER had a waitress yell over to another waitress and ask about vegetables. I have NEVER had a waitress continue to yawn as she was taking our order plus she was to busy watching whatever was on the tv. Now we get our appetizer. When we finished the appetizer we placed our dirty dishes at the end of the table so she can pick them up. She brings the main course, puts the plates down, doesnt bother to pick up the appetizer dishes or the empty bottle of beer or empty cocktail glass and walks away. She didnt bother to clear off the table until she gave me the check. This was the first time I didnt leave my usual 30% tip. Food was great,...

I usually don’t go out of my way to write mediocre or bad reviews but everytime I come here I leave disappointed. The bar aspect is great from the drinks to the simple bar food/appetizers.

What upsets me is that their Italian food is garbage and it’s disappointing coming from a family that owns their own local bakery. One time I got chicken parm and the sauce was watery, pasta was flavorless and the chicken was bland and rubbery. Months later I go back out with company and I order chicken carbonara. I took two bites and was disgusted. The chicken was worse then before, the creamy sauce was disgusting. It was so bad I’m going to make it myself and probably do a better job. It was probably good when they made it fresh last month and before they tossed it into the freezer.

I really think the business needs to improve the “Italian” aspect or just stick to being...

Ordered 4 cheesesteaks, one should have been extra mayo, extra cheese needless to say no mayo no cheese, returned the cheesesteak told them what it should have been this is the reason for 1 star was told take my money no way he was gonna remake it. I opened the steak sandwich to show him it was dry no mayo no nothing. I was told the mayo and cheese evaporated. Yes it evaporated I didn't know this was possible evaporating mayo and cheese but it didn't evaporate on the other three sandwiches. Was extremely rude take the money or sandwich that we all just touched. Ok so I take the money but they charged me $1 for the evaporating cheese and I couldn't get the $1 back.
