Goni’s Gourmet — Restaurant in Fairfield

Porch fest food truck disappointment! Yesterday at the Black Rock Porch Fest food truck area, we were excited to try some items on the menu. Waiting in a CREEEPINGLY slow line, we had plenty of time to decide what to order. Only when at the window were we told they only offered hot dogs, burgers and lobster rolls. The two other food trucks ln the area were a hot dog truck and a steak/beef truck. This was pretty annoying. When I asked why we can’t order the other items, the guy said they were the only things they wanted to serve bc they were popular. Ummm that seems so lazy. So either get less lazy staff or write a sign with the actual offerings bc we watched soooo many people get bummed when they got to the window. The ketchup was bone dry and it looked like they sent young teens to get like 6 bags of ice but they never brought ketchup back. If you’re offering only dogs and burgers and fries, as a lobster truck (tf?) supply ketchup. We asked for cheese fries. “no, only doing regular fries, but do you want cheese on the burger?” Yo, what? The guy was RUDE to the folks we heard ask for more ketchup. Seriously weird attitude from the guy in the truck. Do better. We thought it was a blatant cash grab for this business to offer two lobster items that were like $30-40 each and...

My older daughter LOVES lobster! I heard through a friend about Goni & went to pick up lobster rolls for her 14th birthday dinner. Goni was so kind to package the lobster separately with the rolls on the side. He also packed delicious kettle chips in the bag as well as lots of napkins, & utensils & brought the bag out to my car with the biggest smile & so much gratitude. I also ordered the most delicious lobster bisque I have ever put in my mouth! We hosted my parents from Dallas and a couple of her friends to celebrate. Every e raved - truly the most delicious lobster rolls we have ever had! Goni is amazing! I cannot wait to order more delicious...

I absolutely love Gonis Gourmet First it is very convenient. Second it is absolutely delicious - (I haven't eaten one of Chef Goni’s meals that I've disliked. The flavors are wonderful and the foods are well grouped together. I also enjoy the variety of options I can chose from. The Instructions are easy to follow - love the format of the ordering along with the photos. Chef Goni is one of the best around with Great service - The produce and meats that I've requested have always been in good shape. I've always received my box on time.
