I have noticed the quality of service going down the last couple of years. The food quality has held an average quality. Decent and filling. The service I am recalling below, however, was the tipping point for my family and our future purchases from Fairmont Pizza.
Called in order and told ready in 30 minutes (that would be 5:25 pm).
Pulled into drive thru. Employee came out to get my name and order info while I was a few cars from window so "it could be ready quicker". "Nice touch" I thought. Pulled up to window to pay.
$29 for a chicken salad and a small subs. ??? Asked about detailed receipt but they only had card slip total to give. The earlier mentioned quality of food is by no means this good. And this price was minus any beverages.
I was told my order wasn't ready, by a courteous person at the window and instructed to pull to other side of building and the order would be brought out to me when ready (this was 5:32 pm).
I sat, waited and watched many other cars cycle by the service window until 5:55 pm. I walked in and up to front counter to check on the status of the order. I knew from sitting by the window that only two booths were occupied inside.
There were two waitresses at the counter looking down (cellular device in hand) as I walked in. On the second attempt ("Excuse me ma'am") to gain either ones attention I began asking about my order. I was still ignored by one waitress and the other gave an eye roll and stated that if I was told to wait my order was not ready. I showed that I had paid for food 25 minutes earlier. Miss Eye-Roll sighed and went to kitchen area. I observed a white plastic bag on the drive thru counter that I assumed was my order because others were constantly go out the window and not being placed by this bag.
I heard the conversation of differentemployees "I'm busy", "it's not marked waiting", "that's not my problem" in reference to so something. Finally the same bag from the counter was delivered to me with no eye contact whatsoever or once again any courtesy. I accepted the bag and left.
Believe it or not when I got the food home it was all ice cold and/or soggy. Usually this is associated with sitting for an extended time. I could be wrong here.
The sign outside says "Come see me or we both go hungry". I truly hope they have something put back for tougher times because this was my final purchase from...
Read moreThe service has steadily declined with each of our visits since 2021. Tonight was the tipping point for me.
We placed a pickup order (5:05 pm) and waited the requested 30 minutes before arrival. There was an extended line at the drive thru which was expected for a Friday. I pulled up and paid (5:43 pm) after being asked my name and then after some confusion what I ordered.
I was informed my order wasn't ready and to pull around and it would be brought out.
At 6pm the order had still not been brought out. I walked in to check on the status. There appeared to be no one in charge of the operation, so I attempted to get the attention of the two ladies available and chatting behind the counter.
Both ladies at the front counter looked at me but then turned away. Odd I thought. The inside pay station on the other side of them had 5 people standing by to pay so I stayed to the opposite side as to not clutter the area.
I politely said "excuse me ma'am" to the ladies at the counter. I received one eye roll and the other ignored me still. I asked about my order and had reciet in hand in case it was needed. I was sharply told by Miss Eye Roll that if I was told to pull around that my order was not ready. I was trying to avoid a Karen situation at all costs. I explained the extended wait time.
I proceeded to listen to a discussion of an order that was sitting on the back counter then the "not my job / I'm busy / it's not marked waiting" back and forth between several persons. The same order was finally delivered to me. Sadly it was done with apparent disdain.
There may have been an unknown factor in the service of the restaurant but it was not obvious. There were a few occupied booths inside and perhaps they had ordered one of everything which was leading to a high stress factor. I was looking for a silver lining to the situation.
Surprisingly the food was cold by the time I completed my 10 minute drive home as an added bonus. We were overjoyed to be so lucky. Smh
The 2 given stars were as follows 1 for being open and 1 for supplying food that was ordered. The three missing are for quality of time, service and product.
The sign outside says "Come in and eat or we'll both starve". For my part I hope they have been putting something back. As for me and mine we will choose elsewhere...
Read moreWe decided to eat in and waited over an hour for food. My husband finally went to tell them we’d just pay for our drinks and leave. Server decided to rush out then and tell us our food was about to come up. She hadn’t been to our table at all after taking our order… I have previously worked in food service and I know things get busy and sometimes take a while, but communication is key. She could have come and said something about the delay or etc. I accept some fault in that too, because we should have gone up to see what was going on after the first 30 minutes or so. However, we were watching videos on a phone with our kids and didn’t realize it had been so long. They were kind enough to take our drinks off for the wait… so we paid $70 for terrible service, a ridiculous wait and mediocre food. We also witnessed a big mistake while there. Someone called in an order and she took it down wrong. Dude ordered one meal and she wrote down 5! That poor customer paid and took it all, at a little over $60! Idk how this place always has such a busy drive thru....
