Awesome brewery southeast of Asheville. I just moved to the area and there are two new “hometown” breweries for me. They both are excellent and are great complements. The beers I had at Turgua were solid, so I look forward to trying more to see if I can get an excellent beer. But the space is very good. I’m a sucker for being near water, and even after the devastation of Helene, you can take your beers, walk about 100yds back from the back porch and sit right by the water…or IN the water. The back porch area is absolutely amazing. The scenery is beautiful and there is an abundance of tables. Some even have little roofs to get some shade. Little details don’t go unnoticed. I’m excited to come back

Nice looking spacious spot. Nice size taproom plus large open outside space, some with cover. Good variety of craft beers on tap, but unfortunately this place does not want visitors to try their beer. Majority of breweries will offer samples of beers to try to find the best for their tastes. For me, I always buy multiple flights to try a brewery beer offerings, but not even flights are offered here. Just buy our beer and you better like it. Well, I’ve been to hundred of breweries, I’ll find a traditional one that wants to share their craft. By the way instead of buying $50 of beer here like I usually would at a new place for me, I had a $4.50 pour that I did not like and moved on.

Having been to the previous location we decided to venture out and see the new digs. Complete change up but still featuring wide open space with plenty of room to bring your kids, dogs, friends, and just relax. Food truck typically onsite and there was even live music the day we chose to visit. All the beers were great and they put their own spin on the usual brews. We felt there were good options depending on what style you appreciate. Only critique I would say is that everything for the most part was served in 12 ounce pours but had the full pint price. Maybe something they can change in the future. Bring your own chair have a few and enjoy the new space. CHEERS!!

I’m sad that this place went downhill. Went here years ago in the original location and the owner was super nice and the beers were great. Just went to the location off cane creek rd and the bartender obviously hates his job. As soon as we walked in he had an obvious attitude and was not friendly AT ALL!! Due to the poor service we most likely never be back since there are so many other good breweries in the area.

What kills me the most is that I was really looking forward to coming back since my first visit years ago because I loved the beers, location, and service. This time the beer was barely cold, the location was okay, and the service was definitely the worst I’ve had in a long time. I honestly felt like we inconvenienced the beertender from whatever was more important to him which was obviously not...

The main draw to this brewery would be the outdoor space here. Plenty of nice covered and uncovered area to hang out. A nice creek for the kids to play in. The beer was ok but not great. We love to try flights so we can get a sampling of all of a places beer which we were impolitely informed were never available here. In fact, the man behind the bar did not really want to give us a sample of their offerings. He reluctantly did give my wife a couple of samples and even said she was hard to please which was uncalled for as she knows her beer and likes a wide variety. The young lady that we delt with later was much nicer and more accommodating. I would not return based on the experience we had. Too many other better breweries...
