When I found out there were new owners at The Maples, I had to make a reservation and see if anything changed because, this was the best place outside of going to Pittsburgh for a great steak and I'm happy to say this steak was the same as before, which is EXCELLENT!!!
The Appetizers were on point... The bread was hot and fresh out of the oven... The steaks come out sizzling on a hotplate with drawn butter and are a Chateaubriand cut... Absolutely amazing...
The new owner Nicole treated us as family and we couldn't have asked for a better meal and dining experience...

However, the side salad and side dish choice of baked potato which comes with a 1/2 cup of sour cream on top or veggies (which were clearly frozen bag reheated) were very underwhelming for the cost per plate. I would have even been willing to pay a few dollars more per plate to get a fresher seasonal vegetable option.

Read moreMaples is a gem. The owners are the kindest and warmest people who truly make you feel welcomed. The menu options are limited, which is a positive, as the focus is on quality. The meat is prepared with attention, and has a flavor superior to ANY of the corporate chains in the city (Morton's, Ruth's, Eddie V's, etc.).
I cannot give this place any complaints as my meal was truly fantastic and far exceeded my expectations. On second thought, my only complaint is that I didn't find this place sooner!
