I called the shop to place a take out order after looking at the online menu. I was extremely difficult to do so. I would not recommend calling in the order but should you choose to try Dana's Kitchen just go directly to the shop. The person on the phone was unprofessional and seemed to be confused about the order. I was trying to order just 3 sandwiches with no specific requests. She passed the phone off to another person that took my order. However, after having looked at the online menu was told some of the sandwiches we desired were no longer available. I was told the online menu was out of date. Frustrating experience when trying to place a quick order. When we received our sandwich I was extremely disappointed with the falafel sandwich. The Falafel did not taste fresh and was difficult to eat. They were hard and had no taste. The store bought hummus and tabouli and tasteless falafel made this a sandwich you could better make at home. The Rubens that we ordered were over dressed and soggy making it unpleasant to eat. Nothing tasted home made or very fresh. For the prices charged treat yourself to a nice sitdown lunch from one of the many wonderful restaurants down town. This was a huge...

Everything is in the $13.50-$15.50 range. Generally high for lunch items. I ordered a daily special (chicken avocado wrap) listed on the chalkboard which had no price. I added a seltzer water to my order and was told that'll be $17.88. This is honestly the most I've ever paid for a sandwich and drink to go. I just rolled with it because I didn't want to cause embarrassment and cancel the order.
As a rule I always try to support local business first when I have the option, but I won't be going back there. I recently went to a chain sub shop, got a regular sub, chips and drink for $10.50. A $7.00+ difference is quite a bit...

My spouse was excited to try their Portuguese sausage soup, which was featured on TV and was the reason we wanted to go there. Unfortunately, they didn’t have it. Also, my son had ordered the “Pigs”, which he thought would be hot dog length pigs in a blanket, because they were 2 bucks. To our disappointment, they were only bite sized and they were kind of dry. Fortunately though, they provided alternatives for us. The food was nothing out of the ordinary.
Final review: False advertising, expensive prices, and...
