Our experience working with Lisa Raffael at Delicious Desserts was exceptional. Lisa came highly recommended by a close friend/bridesmaid who used her for her wedding and all special occasions. It was a bonus that she was local in Falmouth, MA which is where our wedding reception was located.

Lisa was easy to work with and extremely informative throughout the entire process especially when determining exactly how many tiers we wanted, cake flavor for each tier, options and pricing for additional treats for our guests, exterior design, and pricing for a pedestal. She shared her professional knowledge and experience with how many servings we would need for 130 guests and was honest about what she thought we needed. I appreciated her insight so we could make the best decision for our wedding.

When my husband and I met with Lisa at her shop for our cake tasting, she made us feel very comfortable with her easy going and sincere demeanor. We tasted the two tone cake option and was blown away by the flavor and freshness. We talked about how this was a great option for our guests so they could enjoy both vanilla and chocolate without them having to take two pieces of cake in order to just try both. We loved the raspberry cream filling and buttercream frosting during our tasting and felt confident signing the contract and paying the deposit after our meeting/cake tasting. Every bite was better than the last.

Being fully transparent and discussing all the logistics, Lisa was a dream to work with! I showed her pictures of what I liked - flowers cascading down the cake and the look of spatula lines. She proceeded to show me pictures of her past work and drew a sketch so we were both on the same page. She coordinated with my wedding florist the day of and I couldn’t be happier with my wedding cake. It was picture perfect!

Lisa exceeded my expectations. Her passion and ability to deliver my vision is what every bride deserves on her wedding day. If you are considering Delicious Desserts for your wedding cake there is no need to look any further!

We had an incredible experience working with Lisa of Delicious Desserts! From our first phone call I knew we had to work with her no matter how the cake tasted (turned out to be delicious!). She was so friendly and interested in our wedding planning. She was also very accommodating when at the last minute we were unable to attend our initial cake tasting appt. Her home kitchen is perfectly decorated and she spent time with us showing pictures of previous cakes she has made and gave great recommendations. When deciding on cake flavors and tiers, we loved Lisa’s idea of having each slice be both chocolate and yellow cake. The raspberry cream filling and buttercream frosting were so good and even one guest asked if Lisa made our cake because she recognized the taste of the raspberry cream. Lisa and our florist coordinated to add beautiful flowers for the finishing touch on the cake. On the day of our wedding, we got to see Lisa again while we were taking formal photos and she was sweet enough to show us a picture of our cake on her phone since we couldn’t yet go into the reception space. We are so happy Lisa made our wedding cake and would highly recommend her and her delicious desserts!

Where do I even begin?!? Lisa is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! Choosing Delicious Desserts was the best decision I ever made!! Lisa is so talented, fun, passionate, organized, professional and the best vendor I worked with during the wedding planning process!! Not only did she give me advice every step of the way but her work is completely flawless. Our wedding cake was absolutely stunning and needless to say absolutely DELICIOUS! Every single guest at our wedding could not stop talking about how beautiful and delicious our cake was!!!! Lisa also provided personalized macaroons with each slice of our wedding cake to put our dessert over the top! She meticulously hand painted our initial onto each macaroon! Our favors were her famous/ to die for cake truffles!!! Hand boxed and tied with a ribbon- each truffle was placed at each place setting. Guests were thrilled to take a little bite of heaven home to enjoy! Lisa goes above and beyond to meet all of your dreams and expectations.
