We love their Sandwich location and really wanted to love this too, but we were incredibly disappointed. The atmosphere and location itself is wonderful- a lot bigger than their other location and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I love that they have gelato and coffee too! Those were the only positives.
My husband and I dropped by on our way home from grocery shopping, expecting to order pizzas to go and be on our way. At the Sandwich location, we were usually in and out in 20 mins, tops. There were 3 parties seated - one was leaving, one was being given their food as we were walking in, and one had not gotten their food yet, so it wasn't busy. We ordered 2 small pizzas, mozz sticks, and sat down to wait. I am 8 months pregnant and was starving. 40 minutes goes by. I rush to the car to check on the groceries and steal some groceries to eat before I pass out. Finally, the guy behind the counter gets apologetic and FIFTY minutes since walking in, we FINALLY walk out with our two small pizzas and mozz sticks. We get home to find the mozz sticks burnt to a crisp. Like, drop them on the plate and have them break the plate type hard. More breading than cheese and inedible, so those went straight in the trash. The pizza was just "meh" and we had soggy/melted groceries. We'd passed Dominoes on our way to Moto, and next time we will just stop there.
I'm hoping this is just a "working out the new kinks" or "learning the ropes" type of deal but I can't say we will...
Read moreFantastic food. I've been there a few times over the years, and it is always good!
Today, i poked in on a whim, and they just happened to have my favorite pizza available for slices, which is BBQ chicken. They always have a good selection of slice options, it seems. I'm pretty picky when it comes to BBQ chicken pizza, so I normally only get it from one place around town. However, now I have two to choose from! I actually liked their version better, too. They do BBQ chicken, with bacon, and some fresh cut parsley (i think. It was green, is all i know, lol). It was delicious. I also love that she tossed the chicken IN the BBQ sauce. Instead of just drizzling it on top of the pizza, or worse, like a lot of other shops, using the BBQ as the sauce, instead of normal tomato pizza sauce. The crust is good, too. Pizza wasn't greasy either. I bought two slices, which was basically half a pizza, for 9 bucks. It was wicked filling. I probably should have just got one, but I'm haply i had to 2nd, lol. Both the gals in their where very nice and welcoming and made you feel invited in. I'll be back. You...
Read moreVisited this establishment 3 times. I was very disappointed all three times. The atmosphere and interior design is really cool and makes you feel comfortable.
The first visit: The fried pickles were phenomenal. The pizza: Honey Sugarberry Ham. Extremely undercooked and a pool of water and grease in the middle of the pie. Was extremely sweet and watery. Did not even finish my slice. Gave the rest away.
Second visit: The Chocolate Chip Gellato was amazing! The pizza: Fig and Prosciutto. Again Same problem extremely doughy and undercooked. There was a pool of liquid under the cheese. Finished a slice. Gave the rest away.
Third Visit: Caprese Sub. The Olive oil and Balsamic were nowhere to be found. Literally a dash on both sides. Potential to be decent however poorly poorly executed. Fried Pickles were amazing!
Overpriced and poorly cooked. Falmouth has way to many pizza options at the same price point. Wicked, Devine, and Chappy execute and cook their...
