La Mejor Inc. — Restaurant in Farmersville

This spot has completely restored my faith in the "asada wet burrito." Came here on a Saturday at 10:30am and damn! The parking lot was full! Great sign! I haven't been here in about 6 months, saw a review on Yelp saying this place had restored the woman's faith in "authentic" Mexican food so I had to get back down to see if she was right. She was! The staff was so wonderful and helpful! "I would've taken a pic of the whole burrito but right from opening the container my hunger got the best of me! It looked so good and the first bite tasted just like i thought it would! To be able to grab a couple of Mexican Cokes here was also a definite plus! Something about the flavor compared to American Cokes is no competition, the Mexican Coke will always come 1st! We waited about 5 to 7 minutes from the time we placed our order, the misses getting some "pan" which sadly the selection was a little scarce but that's ok! I managed to get me two Cokes "don't carry the Mexican Pepsi anymore" bummer! Oh well, Coke is still good! My wife was looking for something a little different and went for the chorizo breakfast burrito, I of course went for my "asada wet burrito" we both were very surprised and not disappointed! My burrito has been the best DAMN BURRITO I've had in a VERY LONG TIME! My wife said her burrito had perfect flavor and she'd DEFINITELY order one again! I gotta give a huge thanks to the lovely woman to post the five star review on Yelp, because if not.. I don't think we would've given this place a shot and refound our home for some incredible "authentic" Mexican food! Thank you so much to everyone working there today to make our experience one we will never forget! An experience worth coming...

La Mejor has left a new long lasting impression on me! It's the type of spot where you want to keep coming back as much as possible! I haven't gotten a wet burrito from here in a few years and so happened to see a recent review on "Yelp" saying how amazing and authentic it's gotten. So the wife and I got in the car and took a trip into Farmersville to rekindle our foodie relationship with this spot. My burrito was HUGE! COVERED in delicious Chili Verde sauce and cheese and the lovely lady who gave us our order even slipped in some sauces that complimented my burrito so we'll! The meat was tender with a nice char, the rice and beans were a perfect addition. Plus they have Mexican Cokes which in my opinion is the BEST tasting kind of coke. When you place your order at the counter they will give you a receipt, just take it to the main counter by the door to pay. Such an amazing staff and service! Can't wait to come back for my...

This was my first time visiting this place. I went in today to buy tamales to go. They made the worst tamales I have ever tasted! The people who cooked them don't know what they are doing. They should learn how to make them before even selling them. They were hard, dry, and they didn't have any flavor. They were not worth the price. I wouldn't eat from this place anymore even if they gave them to me for free! Unfortunately I didn't think about trying them then and there. I got them to go and I ate a couple after I got home.
