This was our 2nd time here. The first time was nice, and we enjoyed the food and service. We are looking for a "go to" place that wasn't too far away and we were hoping this might be the one even though it is a distance from us. So, our dinners were good, and the waitress was very very nice. But my wife asked for a little extra sauce which they supplied in a small container. When I received the bill, I was shocked to see that they charged us eight bucks for that wee bit of sauce. You can see the item on our bill listed as 8 OZ. Now, I've never in my entire life been charged for a little extra sauce. Never. So, I get it. They are cheap and charged us. In fact, they should have said to us flat out that it would be an extra charge. Whatever. However, the container is a four-ounce container. It even said it on the bottom. I was charged for eight ounces. I complained and management would not remove the charge. So, I finally demanded the remaining four ounces be given to us. After waiting several minutes, it became obvious that they had no intention of rushing to make things at least somewhat fair. We left, never to return again. It's one thing to have a problem with the food. Maybe a wrong order once in a while. But to flat out lie and cheat a customer is nothing short of insulting. And I'm not cheap. The prices here are generally higher than other places but I don't care as long as it's a good meal with good service. And I usually tip REALLY well. But to be so petty as to lie??? I obviously cannot trust a liar. And I cannot endorse a restaurant that cheats its customers and then doubles down on the lie.

I called earlier in the day to confirm I could get a pizza with cheese on the side instead of on the pie, explaining there were vegans sharing this pizza. I said, "I can't imagine this being a problem, and was met with an agreement from the other side." Calling back to place the order, I spoke with the woman from earlier who had directed me to call and talk to her. Confirming the details, all seemed to be in order. I received the Pizza, half cheese, half spinach. Couldn't eat half the pizza. Dealing with the cheese eaten from the few 'salvageable slices' that shared some cheese with their neighboring slice. I called, spoke to the owner who offered no fix except to 'call and talk to him on the next order - 'she was having a bad day' was his excuse." I'm afraid there won't be a next order. I am also afraid "she" had taken the order properly in my two phone calls. Astounding error management on the owner, and certainly no way to treat employees (especially after excessive work to help me get this order "right"). "Watch out for that bus!!" The old Tony's would have run out a new pizza made properly. I know this from having worked there as a delivery guy a Long time ago. Shame to have to steer clear of this place now. Bruno's it is.

A very pedestrian looking place and name from the outside. Off the main road. I stopped in here some months ago for a quick slice as I was doing some business in the area. The slice was very good, and I took a quick peek at the dining room. Looked inviting. So, my wife and I decided to give the place a try for dinner. I love BYOBs so that was big. The dining room is spacious yet cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful. We started with salads that were really, really good. a nice mix instead of a simple side salad. For our entrees, I tried the chicken francaise and my wife had the chicken parm. Both were really yummy and tender. A decent amount of lemon flavor for me and my wife enjoyed the sauce (she requested marinara) which wasn't sweet (a good thing) and had nice chunks of tomato. All in all, a good dining experience. The music was this kinda world stuff, but ok. I prefer some Dean martin and Frank Sinatra, or even some Italian style dining music, but I'm splitting hairs. We will be back as we really enjoyed this place. Oh....and we got left-overs for tonight!

Once a month two other couples and ourselves get together for dinner and an evening of cards at the respective homes afterwards. This time our friends who live in Howell chose Tony's, located in Farmingdale off Main St. at a strip mall. I had been there a few times for lunch when in the area and their pizza was always outstanding. I figured from past experience that dinner would be no different and was looking forward to coming. We had a reservation for 5:15 on a Saturday evening and when we got there the small dining room area was already crowded with a large group set up in a long table that looked like a private party. Additionally we noticed a woman was setting up a microphone and loudspeaker to be some sort of entertainment. To make a long story short I will say that our dinners when they came out were excellent and delicious in generous portions. That said, when the person started singing, the volume level was so loud it totally killed any chance of conversation at our table. Repeatedly we asked our server over the din to let her manager know that the distraction was ruining our meals but nothing was done to turn it down. All we could do was smile, nod at one another, and endure. Any chance of meaningful dinner conversation was impossible. We noticed that some people who were seated closer to the noise source were getting up and leaving and to be honest, this was my only thought as well. All I wanted was to head for the door and escape. If you've ever been to a wedding reception from Hell (practically everybody has) where the DJ keeps cranking up the volume to the point where you go absolutely crazy, you know what I'm talking about. As a result, a large portion of the food that we paid a goodly sum for was taken home in a box. When the bill thankfully came, the server was trying to tell us something and her lips were moving but I could not hear a word she was saying, the music was that freakin' loud. Once outside in the relative quiet, other exiting patrons were making comments about the excessive noise level and the inability to converse with one another. Mr. Owner, I hope you are reading this and take note because while some low background music is perfectly acceptable at dinner, not everybody wants their ears blown out. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence at this restaurant, perhaps the private party brought their own singers (there were three I believe) because they were all clapping wildly at every song's end. Bottom line the food here is pricey but really very good. However, to save yourself some similar grief at Tony's on a Saturday night, my advice is to call first to see if live amplified music is planned that evening. If so then make your own decision yes or no whether to go...

Got a menu with a very positive recommendation from a co- worker. Called in an order to be delivered to my office at about 11am last Friday. (My office is only minutes away from location.) Two sandwiches and an order of garlic knots. After waiting over an hour, called to check on the status of my order. Was told "it must be out for delivery because it's not here." Order arrives at 12:30 and it's cold. Told the delivery guy I ordered the food an hour and a half prior and that because it was cold, I didn't want it and requested a refund as I had partially paid with my card over the phone. He took the food and told me to call for my refund. I call and ask for a refund. I was assured that not only I would be refunded, but that I should keep the food, so as not to go hungry as I'd probably missed my lunch break at this point. Told them the delivery guy took the food, so they called him to have him return it. Waited another 15 minutes before deciding to check with the front desk security to see if my food came back, as I had initially gotten a call to let me know it had arrived. Get down there to find my order sitting on the table unattended. Ask the security personnel and they tell me the delivery guy dropped it and stormed out. Very unprofessional. Check my account today and the money for the order still came out! Called to have it resolved and no one answered. Went on the site and emailed them, and still have yet to get a response. I will never order...
