George's Diner — Restaurant in Farmington

It saddens me to have to post this. I believe in being honest about the places I eat ,shop , etc in hopes that it will get travelers to maybe stop and spend some money in our community and get sum great food and southern hospitality. Before today I literally eat at George's 5 out of 7 days a week sometimes breakfast sometimes lunch some days both. I'm not gonna lie George's food is some of the best around here but the last 3 times I went the employees in the front not the cooks but the people in the front are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered. They just connected the dots this morning that the person who brings me to get my food is my family and these ladies have had the nerve the past 3 times to speak bad about the person that I'm riding with not knowing I can hear them and that the person they are speaking of is my family. They most likely don't know that I am 1 of there best customers but not anymore. I would rather travel 5 more miles into town and get pitstop than sit and gossip or talk about my neighbors in the community. I guess the owner has more money than they know what to do with because gossip and speaking badly about someone isn't appealing at all that's GOD's job. Food is always amazing! Breakfast or lunch you can't go wrong with George's. Don't let the little building stir you away from eating at the smallest best diner this side of the Mississippi. Try them out if you haven't already and you'll be glad you did. I would recommend favorite items from here but that would be their entire menu so I'll just say you won't get anything that is not good from George's. It's all good at...

This is a small cute little place with biscuits that are amazing the food is good. The portions are just the right amount and the prices are good. The owner and staff are friendly and efficient. There are always home made cakes and cookies to purchase to. Everyday there is a new special on the board so you can try something new. This place is always one of my first picks to go to....
