Some friends and I came here from Peoria to meet a friend from Hanna City. She knew of this place and recommended it. We were all quite impressed. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place is! I even commented to my friends on how clean the menus were, not sticky or greasy like in other diners. They have a lot of variety on the menu. We drove 35 minutes after seeing it on "You Gotta Eat". Cute place for sure, we had high hopes. We have never had a more boring server ever. When our order came out it was wrong. We told the server it wasn't going to work to switch the eggs on our meals. The cook heated mine back up and put the scrambled eggs on it instead of remaking it. My husband paid for 3 eggs and got 2 twice. Never heard sorry for the mistake or any price adjustment. The owner should have been involved and made us feel welcome and made it right. I was on my way to a conference in Peoria, IL and came across this little diamond of a diner in Farmington. I ordered the lumberjack breakfast. The 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 locally made sausage patties, hashbrowns, and 2 cinnamon swirl brioche French toast were definitely filling.
